Tamales are OK but not great. Will probably not be back unless I happen to be in the area. Will not make a special trip.

Was excited this was opening In the mall. I had the puffers, chicken and beef. They are a good size and I got the combo that comes with a drink. They were tasty and usually come with a plastic cup but they were out when I went. They ask if you want salsa and sour cream but don’t tell you they cost extra. They charge for water too. Drink refills are free and are facing out so you can refill when you want. The price is higher but fits right in with mall food prices. Around $ 10 for a meal. Customer service was disappointing. Below average.

Same food as the original location. I think the prices are similar but you can actually sit down here, albeit you are sitting in a mall food court. Several missteps on my first visit but I’m sure they will work out the kinks after being open a while. Certainly not food that you could(or should) eat every day or in large quantities but one of their tacos can certainly hit the spot on a cold & rainy day. I really appreciate their dedication to fresh ingredients as well.

I was at Fort Taco Chesterfield for the soft opening. I can not speak highly enough of the food. We tried 2 chicken puffers and 2 beef puffers. I’m normally a beef person but the chicken puffers were outstanding. They really are special. There weren’t any enchiladas or tamales because this was the soft opening. I am so happy they are in Chesterfield. If they keep up the same quality as they demonstrated today, they will do great with their new location.
