Went in after a long day at work to grab dinner for my family. Order looked correct on Pin pad screen. I ordered 7 sandwiches. I did not check the order till I got home. Realized I was shorted 3 sandwiches. Went back up to the restaurant. Explained what happened. My order was gone off the screen, but they remembered it as the«large order». They asked for my receipt. I explained I did not have it with me. They then said I was only charged for the sandwiches I had received, so charged me for the missing 3 sandwiches. How did they know this??? Since when is 4 sandwiches(the part of the order I got considered«large»). Twice the time, twice the cost, half of the customer service. I can now see why this location is rarely busy. Will not be returning — ever!

Best fast casual restaurant in the area. Also one of the most healthy selections when you’re in a hurry. Was really happy to see one in the area. Always great service and the restaurant is well maintained. On our last visit we had excellent service from a nice young man named Nico. When they are really busy, it seemed they needed a little better air handling as a lot of the kitchen smells were out in the dining area. Overall, glad we have a location in the area.

Lack of customer service. Something was forgotten in the order and instead of saying«sorry here’s the rest of your order» they blamed me and said they have nothing to be sorry about because it was my fault. Rude.

I went to Lions Choice today for lunch and opened my large roast beef sandwich to find MOLD covered all over the bread!!! I wanted to be sick!!! The Health Dept needs to be notified. My husband took back the sandwich and they said they were sorry and would make me a new sandwich… needless to say I was a little nauseous and did not want another sandwich from there!!! I got my money back and I won’t be back.

After being so excited to have a lion choice in an area needing restaurants… I am unfortunately kind of sad. Workers who just don’t care, I guess? It isn’t cheap for the family to eat there… About $ 60 bucks. It can be worth it, but it is one out of three times that it hasn’t been more like chipped beef instead of roast beef. At some point in its life it was likely good… but that time wasn’t when we were there on two of our three visits so far. Manchester rd in Ballwin is much better or even in Eureka if they aren’t swamped with 6 flaggers. Why does the Lions Choice just a couple of minutes from my house have to be so below par? In my book, anyone serving Pepsi products instead of Coke cant afford to mess up on the food because there would be nothing left to want!

WHAT did they do to the roasted beef? It was shredded or ground or some similar hideous consistency. Absolutely NO slices of roasted beef anywhere. DONOT look at the website pictures, or you will be completely deluded. I went for a late lunch yesterday(eat-in) and even though I was truly hungry, I could barely get this sandwich down. I got the original roasted beef sandwich with cheddar. The cheddar was cheese sauce, so who knows what else was in it. And it was slathered on the sandwich in such a sloppy manner that it was all over the paper, running out of the sandwich. Every bite I took, I had to wipe my hand on a napkin, and I even dropped some of that cheese sauce on my shirt. Crap in a handbag. I needed a bib. No sides. No beverage, except water. It cost $ 3.89, and they gave me a 10% senior discount — and I didn’t ask for it. So, that amounted to a whopping 39 cents off. So there ya go. .. another«oh crap» moment.

My first time trying Lion’s Choice. Biting into the roast beef sandwich, the first flavor I noticed was salt. The meat was good quality, but kind of dry. They neglected to pack our requested sauces, so I am not sure I got the normal flavor experience. However, the hand cut fries were the best I have had anywhere.

Good luck getting what you order if you go through the drive through. Three times our king beefs with Swiss lacked cheese. Another time we ended up with s random bag of veggies instead of fries. Womp womp

Was hoping for something good. Roast beef was too dry. Flavor was ok, but would have been better in some type of Au Jus sauce.

Tried this new Lion’s Choice for the 1st& last time today. It’s like they used a wood chipper instead of a meat slicer. Will drive a little longer & stick with the one on Manchester Rd in Ballwin. A horrible excuse for a sandwich!!!

This is a brand new flagship location, ironically right next door to Lifetime Fitness as if to be making one last-ditch effort to detour you good intentions at the last possible minute. And it just may do that, because their roast beef sandwiches are hard to beat. Light years beyond Arby’s in quality and taste, one bite will tell you why all the hungry African lions have been migrating here to feast for thousands of years. The fries are cooked in vegetable oil so they’re much healthier for you than most fast food places. The turkey sandwiches aren’t bad either if red meat ain’t your thing. They do accept Pay but because the payment terminal is mounted on an inside wall at the drive thru window, you can’t pay with your Watch(unless you cut off your arm and hand it to the cashier) and if you pay with your phone you will hand it over twice… once to grab the transaction and again to place your fingerprint for authorization… a minor inconvenience at best.
