Lowe’s Home Improvement

I placed an online order yesterday morning for my Fiancé. I am last minute Christmas shopping and only placed an online order so I would be able to zip in after work, go to the customer service counter and pick up my order. I kept dreading that the line would outrageous (normally it is)…
I arrived at 5:15pm & the very friendly sales associate helped me instantly. They brought my order up front and I was good to go. While I was waiting for them to bring my item up front, I asked the lady if they sold gift cards for stores other than Lowe’s, she directed me to the end cabinet with all the other gift cards and told me to go back to her register and she could ring me up at the service counter so I didn’t have to wait in a normal line. Very friendly and also helpful!

Nice store, clean and not too busy. As is typical, I purchased more items than I had planned for, but all in all, it was a good experience.
The aisles were wide enough to pass a couple shopping carts, the store was as clean and organized as any of the big-​box hardware stores in the area.
I asked for and received a military discount — thank you!

Nice store like many other Lowe’s I’ve been to. Two items though stuck out:
1. My daughter and I walked by at least 4 associates and not a single one said hello or asked if we needed help. Found that somewhat unusual as typically they are really friendly at the other Lowe’s I’ve been at.
2. This was one of those stores where the entrance and exit are for some odd reason not in the same spot. This makes the walk to the car in 20′ weather miserable from the exit. Kind of a bad way in my opinion to end a store visit.
Otherwise we were able to locate what I needed for the house at a reasonable price.

I will never ever buy an appliance with an extended warranty from Lowes again. It has been the worst service experience in my entire life. It has been a month and they still don’t have washer fixed. Misdiagnosed the first time and still waiting for parts. I have to keep calling because they promise to show up and call and nothing happens. I am going to buy another one because service is that lousy!!!
