Pure Plates

I absolutely love this place! It’s a great concept! I’m a big health freak and today I was just so fed up of eating crap for lunch all the time… so I thought to myself, «why can’t there just be a HEALTHY, gluten free „fast food“ place anywhere in the world so I don’t have to continuously eat bad during my lunch time?» So I looked on Unilocal and found this place! I love trying new places but I was so hungry today and usually when I’m hungry I only stick with what I know because I know how it will taste… but, I convinced myself to come here and I’m so happy I did! I loved it right when I walked in. I didn’t even try the food yet and I was mesmerized at how amazing this place was ! I thought wow, this is so convenient and HEALTHY TOO! They have ready made foods to go, salad shakers, yogurts and much much more already pre made foods to choice from! Anything from fish, to chicken, to wraps… etc…All you have to do is just heat it up in the microwave for 1:30. And they don’t have soda, only a choice between green or black tea with three natural flavorings to add if you want. Soooooo good!!! When I took the food back to my office I was shocked of how amazing it actually was. It’s perfectly portioned (and I eat a lot) and very filling. I will DEFINITELY be back!!!

Convenient with good service, some of the food is tasty but most is just ok to not good at all. All of it is way overpriced for what you get. Would be ok in a real time pinch when you are still trying to be healthy.

You can do it yourself at home but I can totally understand if life is just way too busy and you need an occasional go-​to spot to pick up a quick and healthy meal. One that fits your macros, carbs, packs protein and appeals to your diet.
The place is super cute. Very accommodating, with pleasant customer service. Offers pre-​made as well as made to order healthy enough meals. I say «healthy enough» because the nutritional facts do not necessarily appeal to me however; for those seeking take-​out more nutritious than Mickey D’s…its a winner.
They also have drinks ranging from herbal teas to bottled H2O and sweeteners from natural to artificial. Located in a small plaza just west of Long Rd. and before you reach the Premium Outlet shopping center.

I purchased a weeks worth of lunches, all different entrées. They were absolutely terrible! I understand the healthy and convenient part, but the taste is awful. The chicken meal I had looked boiled and was extremely dry and came with green beans and humus stuffed potatoes. I tossed that entire meal after tasting each item. The pastas were slightly edible, and because I didn’t want to waste more money, I finished them. I feel bad writing a bad review, because they were so nice and helpful, but I would not purchase meals from here again, and I have to give an honest review. For the price of the meals, they need to improve the taste somehow and they were not «fresh» tasting either.

This was a nice surprise for east, fresh, healthy, and cheap! I suggest the chile relleno and the detox salad! The cowboy chile could have use some more seasoning and spice but was also good. My only complaint is recycling is not available in store when all the container are plastic

I felt better after eatting here. I know that sounds ridicilous and I didnt want to believe it either, but its true, I FELT BETTER. I picked up lunch not quite knowing what to expect due to the initial shock if the style of the restaurant, I was ignorant to the concept but glad I ordered. I decided to go with the salmon with pesto and green beans. It was really good. I had my reservations as there are quite a few unhealthy but tasty ingredients they had mentioned they don’t put in their food such as butter and salt. I will say that the food didn’t miss the butter. They were able to develop good flavor from the natural ingredients themselves. I won’t lie, when I got to work I did add salt for personal preference but nothing else need be changed. One great thing about this place is that the containers their food is in is BPA free. The staff and owner were all very nice and willing to make suggestions and go over the menu as well as the supplements they had in the store. I think over all this place was very tasty and pleasant I will surely be going again.

Best Food and Service Ever! Visited there when I was in town! Wish we had one closer to me! Very healthy food choices! I ate there everyday when I was there! Love the location too! Loved the variety of their menu!:)

Healthy and fast with friendly service.
I picked up dinner here last night, The food was wonderful and because ingredients and nutrition information was clearly listed I know what I am getting and that it is a healthy meal.
The food was so good even my kids were eating it with no problems which is amazing because they are super picky eaters.
My only suggestion would be to offer a specific kids menu.

This place is in the old Mediterranean Grill space … it seems this little strip mall is a hard place to be successful with food. Pure Plates is a ready made meal pick up outlet that is glass door refrigerator style, for lack of a more exact term. The idea, like many others, is nutritious meals with basic nutrition information so you can quickly assess what looks good and what is good for you. I ended up going for what was basically steak with fire roasted vegetables. I am working on reducing carbs and they really had nothing that was low in carbs and there is no labeling of sodium, which is also important to me. Aside from that, the vegetables weren’t all that appealing but they did taste okay. The meat was also just okay … nothing special here. Being next to a Smoothie King doesn’t help any. I’ve been to much better similar places, ones with variety, larger selection and some creativity … nice people but that may not be enough to stay.
