This is not a huge space, but they have a meeting room and: magazines CDs newspapers DVDs AV audio books a separate Teen Center room that’s sequestered from the rest of the library a computer lab in the main area of the library and. .. of course. .. lots of books. It’s a very quiet and restful place. I went to sit in one of the casual chairs and read the book I’d brought. I was there two hours facing out to the windows and saw a lovely rainfall, at times heavy. Very, very restful. The restrooms have great labels to tell you they’ve gone green. There are many casual chairs, and tables and chairs for those working and needing a desktop space. I’ll go back to check out a movie or two. I saw some recent ones. But, then, again, I love«It Happened One Night» and all the«Thin Man» series.

This review is for the Sachs branch of the St. Louis County Public Library. This is one of the mid-range branches. There is one meeting room, the restrooms are small, and the décor is a bit dingy. They do have excellent wi-fi as most of the libraries do now and, of course, that awesome service(both in person and online) that the St. Louis County Public Libraries have. The parking lot is big, and access is very easy. Step over to the Central Park next to the library to see the massive«Awakening» sculpture. It’s worth the trip!
