What can I say that hasn’t already been said? This was my first Unilocal event and even though I came solo I was welcomed by other Unilocalers. It was easy to bond with such delicious snacks and drinks and good company. The class itself was a blast. I haven’t painted anything since 5th grade but my piece is now happily displayed in my house. The instructions were clear and mistakes were easily compensated for thanks to the piece we were working on. I was thrilled when I won a gift certificate and I found a class where I can make a portrait of my dog. Does it get any better than that?

I am so glad I made the list for this event! Up until this event, I had done 4 paint-and-sips. I noticed a few things about this particular paint-and-sip that stood out. First, I love how they had one individual leading the group and another following around to help. Second, I loved that when I had questions about how to fix the painting, the staff were patient and really helpful. Third, I love that this place(in contrast to most paint-and-sips) was its own freestanding business. Frequently, paint-and-sips are done in various restaurants, which can make for a really expensive night. Another thing I liked about this place was the selection they seem to have for other paint-and-sip nights. Frequently, I find most paint-and-sips have only a few good options in terms of what to paint. The same cannot be said of Pinot’s Palette. I can see myself coming back here to try so many of the paintings they have on the wall. Finally, while this place is not a restaurant, I did notice that they had reasonable prices for beer and wine. Luckily for us elites, Aaron provided us with a ton of free snacks, wine, and beer so that made the night even better. Overall, it was such a fantastic night. I would highly recommend people come over and check out Pinot’s Palette.

Thank you Aaron for including me and my wife for this event. It was truly fantastic! I’ve been wanting to try one of these places for some time. My daughter had been here with a friend and really enjoyed herself. This location was tucked away in the strip mall next to the Trader Joes, Fire House Subs and a Sushi restaurant off of Clarkson. It is very quaint and I guess what you would expect for a «painting class» environment. Of course a smiling Aaron greeted us at the door along with our 2 instructors. There was wine and snacks along one wall with small cubby’s to place your belongings. There were tables of easels setup leaving a clean line of sight to the instructor’s easel. On the wall was our example painting. «spring’s pathway»??? I think. There was fun music playing and with a little wine it is easy to get into the swing of things. It kind of felt like a little musical chairs. The instructor would give step by step instructions and after each step would say«paint» and then the music would come back on while you paint. A «floating» instructor would help fill paint and also give some extra direction if needed. It was wonderful to see the 20 Picasso’s in the room work. The step by step instructions make you feel you can do this for a living… NOT! :) Overall I was very please with my results but I think that is the point. I will be back! What a great idea for a team building event or birthday party. I had a wonderful evening and as always thank you Aaron! Awesome job.

Gina was awesome! I attended for Pinot’s for the first time during a Unilocal event. There were snacks and drinks, cool people and paint. I had a really good time socializing while perfecting my artistic skills. A very memorable experience; my first Unilocal Elite gathering, my first time painting and my first visit to Pinot’s. Our work stations were already nicely equipped with pretty paint palette’s, a goodie bad and blank canvas’. Aaron did an amazing job setting this up I ca’t wait for the next one.

This was probably my favorite of any of the events. Thank you Aaron for such an amazing time! Even with my non painting talent I still managed to pull off a decent picture! Great memories. Thank you again!!!

Before I start my review, I wanted to thank Aaron B. & St. Louis Unilocal for hosting us at this YEE !! thank you! we had a great time and really enjoyed the painting lesson while mingling with other fellow elites and their +1s. This was my first painting class ever! I know they are extremely popular… artsy gene, what is that??? I been a bit hesitant to even go to one… but hey, why not right? … not having painted in AGES… I sat in front of my canvas ready! Adam and Gina were our instructors, Gina was demo-ing the in the front and Adam was walking around giving feedback! We were given a paper plate with a few colors of paint and one paper plate empty for mixing, a water cup, a 3 types of brushes! as Gina described them, a big one, a medium and a small one! to quote my new STL elite friend Mindy’s +1 aka her mom, who is wonderful — «Paper towels are your friend!» Indeed they are!. it will help you clean the brushes time and time again. not being artistic at all… I will say that I actually really got into my painting… after listening to the easy to follow techniques by Gina, the painting started to come alive… it was also cool how they had music in between her instruction! made the environment that much more fun and casual! after about 2 hours or so, we were done! little by little my painting came alive! I ‘d say my favorite part was doing the flowers! they were super easy and really POP… the part I struggle the most were the trees! Sue explained it to me as to which way you actually move the brush… and sue thank you for all the tips! you were super helpful :) thank you Aaron and Pinot’s Palette! had soo much fun and can’t wait to go back :)

So my boyfriend and I went to the Unilocal event at Pinots palette tonight and it was so much fun. We each got our own canvas with paint and brushes set up for us, and of course there were snacks and drinks as well. The instructors were all very friendly and helpful, and they showed us the techniques to use to paint our picture, which was a wooded scene with trees, flowers and a trail. We still had plenty of freedom to put our personal touches in our pictures. And even though they looked a little suspect at first, they both turned out to be masterpieces! We had so much fun painting while having a glass of wine, we can’t wait to come back and do it again.
