whenever I find I’m in a town with one of these places I go, they are consistently good, very good offerings if you love Italian food and the staff is always very nice. I’ve literally been to these places dozens of times(Wellesley, West Wood, Chestnut Hill, West Roxbury, Marblehead) and they never disappoint. Great for take out and the portions are generous, these folks know good comfort food, keep up the good work.

$ 5 for a hugeee cheese pizza pie! Great deal, good size and delicious cheesiness. I usually call in to put in a order while I’m on the way. They are quick and tasty. There’s also plenty of free parking in the lot. I’ve tried one other pasta dish there and it was pretty good as well. Good place for a quick meal to go(seating is very limited). The only issues to really worry about is Route 9 traffic during rush hours.

Cool little place. Got great selection of pasta dishes, and all I’ve tried were good. Decent price and good portions. Usually I can be decently full and spent around $ 10, which isn’t bad.

We wanted to order pizza for a home party on a Saturday afternoon. We called but were told they don’t take orders on the phone, and delivery would take two hours. I was told to come to their place, and they could make the pizzas in 15 – 20 minutes. Went to their Chestnut Hill location, placed the order, and had to wait for half an hour. Missed most of the party for no good reason . The pizzas were not great either, a little burned. Other pizza places cover the chicken with cheese so it wouldn’t get burned. The large pizza is only 16″, and when you place the order they dont have size samples. The wax paper hardly covers half the box area, so it gets greasy and can’t be recycled. Mediocre experience, somewhat high price. Will try other places next time.

This place has great food for the price. Ordered 3 days in advance for the Super Bowl. When I got there to pick them up on Sunday, the pizzas were all ready. I got the cheese pizza. It’s good pizza for 5.99

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt the need to in this case. I waited over thirty minutes for a sandwich here. I watched as three orders placed after mine received their food and left. It took at least twenty minutes before anyone said anything to me. Thankfully the staff was nice, but not very attentive or informative. The food was good but nothing special. Even though I work next door, I will not be back. I would also say it is overpriced for what you receive and the service you get.

Friendliest staff, food is always fresh and served quickly. Great to sit and eat or grab on the go. You can have wine while you sit and eat there and interesting soda choices. I’m obsessed with the chicken parm and homemade pasta. I would come here everyday if it was a little more affordable, but it is so worth it as a treat.

Just went in for lunch. Ordered steak and cheese sub. Sit for literally 20 minutes in awkward silence with probably 5 other guests waiting for their food. I ask if my sub is ready yet and the guy tells me they are out of steak… What? I already paid and tipped. If I hadn’t said anything I would probably still be sitting there. So yeah I don’t get lunch today because I had to go back to work. And all the guy had to say when I told him that is been there for 20 mins was«that’s crazy» Yeah

The pizza is so on point, I’m drooling thinking about it now. Also the price is fantastic for the size of the pie you’re getting. The staff is helpful and kind, I’ve never had a problem with them. I haven’t had too much off the menu, mostly the basics. Chicken parm etc. and that was incredible. The quality of the food and for the price, it seems like a no brainer to me.

I never dined in here so I can’t really comment on the service, other then they’re pretty pleasant upon check out. Kinda pricey for what it is but the meatballs & sauce are awesome. I usually just grab a quart of sauce & a few meatballs & make my own pasta & garlic bread at home. The only time I had pasta there it was overcooked & I believe that can completely ruin a meal. Overall, it’s good & I’d recommend giving it a shot

I go to both this location and the one in West Roxbury and they are both very similar in terms of food and service consistency. I’ve been to each location multiple times and for good reason. Their pasta, sauce, and meats are wonderful. Me and my fiancé are a big fan of the«messes» where they throw a bunch of different pasta together with some meat/veggie selections of your choice. It’s a great price and tastes delicious! The pizza, however, is extremely hit or miss with more misses. I have gotten some of the best pizza I have ever eaten from here, but I have also gotten some of the worst. I noticed the correlations seems to be how busy they are. I’ve walked in with maybe one or two other customers in the shop and ordered a buffalo chicken pizza. It was amazing! Went back a week or two later to get the same thing. This time, it was a bit busier and the wait was a little longer, which is to be expected. I got the same buffalo chicken pizza, except it was cold and wasn’t bursting with nearly as much flavor. Same thing keeps happening when they’re busy. I would be cautious about their pizza.

I’m actually really surprised this doesn’t have better ratings. For someone who grew up in the Pizza Belt, I found myself constantly searching in this area for a pizza that didn’t make me want to cry from how pathetic it was. Comella’s has been excellent when I have gotten pizza there. I mean certainly not at New York or New Haven level but far but probably the best you can get around here. I got a half pepperoni and half meatball pizza. I always have trouble finding places that will do meatball pizzas that aren’t a chain. The meatball was good; good consistency and flavor. Nothing mind blowing, but very good. I’d recommend coming here certainly. It will likely be my go to place while I live in this area. Definitely a pity that they don’t deliver.

Had Chicken Broccoli Alfredo w/Linguine. Amazing! You can absolutely taste the difference in homemade pasta versus dry, boxed pasta. I highly suggest their italian sausage too — one of the best I’ve had! And their mobile app is super easy! Wish they had it at the other locations! I usually order from Wellesley but it’s such a process to do it online there. Wish the app worked for all of them.

Very bad attitude, made fun of their customer’s name. Hate to say this, but their servers take quite a racist’s attitude… will never go back.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had, and this is a chain! it’s that nice thin crust, and somehow only 5 $ for a large cheese? They also have a variety of other delicious Italian food. Super friendly staff. Really couldn’t ask for more! Thanks.

I used to love the meatball subs, but they changed the bread to something fancy, so I won’t be getting that again. Had some spinach gnocchi and it tasted good at the restaurant. I was in a rush to get something to eat recently and got the gnocchi to go. BIGMISTAKE. I would have been happier had they given me a bit less food. The food and sauce were overflowing, the gnocchi was stuck together. Not tasty!

I am not a huge fan of comellas but their pizza is very good. I like how cheap the pizza is making it perfect for parties and such. I do not like how this location is one of the few places that offer pizza. I do not see the point in only having it one location. It gets too confusing.
