They staff is so friendly, polite and welcoming, it makes the atmosphere very pleasant. The place was also very clean and organized. My wrap was absolutely delicious. All of the ingredients were proportionate and extremely fresh. I will absolutely be returning very soon! :)

My friends and I go to flatbreads on average 3 times a week. I know so many people that love it, I don’t understand why it only has 3 stars. The men that work at flatbreads are extremely hard working, always working as quickly as they can to get your sandwich to you whether it’s busy or not. The sandwiches are great(especially the meatball, called the ‘Zorro’, highly recommended). Great place.

Wish I didn’t go there. I ordered a chicken burrito. So he gets a flat bread add cold chicken, rice beans. Etc. Then but it in the microwave! Wrap it up. Boom here we go sir«! Eat this shit Dude if you want microwave food, I wouldn’t go to a restaurant! I wish I didn’t go there.

it wasn’t my best experience! i had tuna salad on a wrap, it was expensive for the size of the wrap, the lettuce wasn’t fresh, and it didn’t seem nice! the person there wasn’t friendly! not on my favorites!

This is my go-to place for lunch near Boston college. Well priced, fast, fresh, big, delicious sandwiches. Guys that work there are great too. Surprised this place doesn’t have better reviews.

The Chicken a la Pesto is a bit misleading. Instead of a piece of grilled chicken, nice slab of mozzarella, and sliced tomatoes, I was surprised to find diced chicken, tomatoes, and lettuce, and just a very thin slice of mozzarella(looked like provolone) that wasn’t even noticeable flavor-wise. Clearly this sandwich is more«a la» than I thought! The pita is fine but not strong enough to support all of the wet components so it just kind of fell apart(a la a burrito). On the plus side, the pesto is definitely the star. It’s refreshing and works well with the fresh tomatoes and crisp lettuce. The sandwich is not heavy(I actually kind of felt like I was eating a chicken caesar salad), although the olive oil does get everywhere. For $ 8.55 with tax, it’s a decent value as it serves two meals for an average-sized person and the service was awesome – the place was empty around 7:30 on a Monday and I had the sandwich in hand in less than 2 minutes. Overall, okay on flavor but disappointing if you’re looking for something closer to a Chicken Pesto.

Good, not great. The man who presumably owns the shop is extremely nice, welcoming, and friendly. It seems like he runs his establishment very well, and tries to cater to every customer as best he can. The wrap I had was covered with sauce. It made it very overpowering and it was tough to distinguish the items that were actually in my wrap, since they all tasted like BBQ sauce. Service was fast, but they should invest in a panini press instead of nuking the whole thing in the microwave and labeling the wrap«Melted.» Fast and friendly service but decent food.

I have been a loyal customer to this delicious and tasty place for over a decade. The service is good and the food never gets old. I am addicted to their gourmet sandwiches. My favorites are Philly Cheesesteak and Chicken Caecar. The quality and presentation of the food are great. Gourmet is the right word for this place. Try it! I think you will like it! To go and pick up only

Poor customer service! While I cannot attest to the quality of Flat Breads sandwiches it is only because we never got to order from them. The catering manager approached us for business and we asked for them to do a tasting. I am not apt to order 50+ sandwiches sight unseen. We are also 25+ min away so asked for a warm sandwich to see how it traveled. At first the answer was«Sure. No problem…» which quickly turned into«We are canceling as we do not give away hot sandwiches» When I called to speak to a manager the person answering the phone was Rude and when I asked his name not only did her refuse to give it, he asked mine and when I would not say he said“This is not 20 questions” and hung up. Lets just say I am happy they did not come out as I would have hated to see what they would have been like with a large order.

Love the Mediterranean Chicken or Don Quixote! Get the hots. Note, watch when your sandwich is being made, if the guy is cutting multiple sandwiches at once, he literally jumps from sandwich to sandwich slicing them in half and it is quite entertaining. It is a little expensive, but they accept Eagle Bucks, so I think with the BC demographic, they can get away with it. Still a quality sandwich!

The price for a cesar wrap, chips and a drink is ~$ 11.50 now. This is just too much for a sandwitch/chips/drink lunch. They give a discount card(buy 5, get 1 free, so it’s 9.50 if you manage follow through with it.) I never seem to have the discount card with me, so I get a new one each time and lose it before I make it back — because each time I’m more disenchanted with the prices and it’s longer before I go back. The wraps are OK, I get the chicken cesar and the quality changes depending on who makes it. The«samurai guy» is great! He is fun to watch, fast and makes a good wrap. They have a good gourmet chip selection too(Herr’s horseradish cheddar is fantastic). But ultimately I agree with other reviewers though that the wraps overall aren’t really great and cost more than they should. I’m glad to see some competition in the area now and hope Flatbreads will step it up!

I personally really like the wraps – not the best I’ve ever had(I wish they had a toaster instead of a microwave) but really great, and an okay price. But above all, the guys who work there are extremely friendly and the owner is a great guy, a tremendous life story if you get to talk to him. He’s seen it all. Edit: one star off — they recently raised their prices a bit too high and they don’t have even a small table to sit down and eat.

So I’ve lived here for almost 4 years and only this year have I started going to FlatBreads. I waited til I’ve tried a few different sandwiches before reviewing. SUCH a great little place! They have tons of sandwiches to choose from– and all are good. I don’t PERSONALLY like the taste of the turkey, though. Otherwise, it’s a good deal. The owner is friendly and the person who rolls the sandwiches is an artist! Haha. If you think back to the OLDOLDSNL episodes– Samurai Deli(or something iike that) — that’s almost how this sandwich roller is, minus the sword. I recommend the chicken caesar and the philly cheesesteak. My husband likes the chicken pesto… yeah there’s lots of goodness to try. And make sure you get a card so your 11th sandwich is free. I wish there was enough room for tables. Maybe there are some outside, but I haven’t noticed since it’s been so DAMN cold. One other thing I’d like to note– I can’t remember the NAME of the sandwich but it was supposed to have mayo. I hate mayo, so I asked for no mayo. And the owner OFFERED a type of vinaigrette dressing on it instead, instead of heeding my request and having a dry sandwich. I was appreciative of that, and the vinaigrette went well with it! I mean, don’t come in here expecting the best of the best, but for what it is, it’s great. I am now a loyal customer.

I have tried many times to go back to FlatBreads in order to find something I like, because the owner seems like a genuinely nice guy, who works really hard to make your order quickly and exactly as you want it. But, ugh, every time I order a sandwich, it’s just not good. Mr. Nice Owner Guy, I tried, I really did, but the food is just not very good, especially for the $ 8ish pricetag. I’m glad there’s finally going to be some decent dining options near BC for future generations of students(El Pelon, Crazy Dough). When flatbreads was the only sandwich choice outside of the dining hall… that sucked.

Once was all I needed and I knew this place was abysmal. Its a subshop that does not do subs. They do Flatbreads which is just an excuse to charge $ 3.00 more for far less food. Its not even fresh it was all frozen or pre-cooked. Subway has fresher options. My Meatball sandwhich was so pre fabricated I could have bought a better one from a vending machine. With BC student’s propensity to walk into oncoming traffic and get into fights outside my window at 2AM its no wonder they frequent this establishment. Its in a great location for them but man are they being hosed on the cost.

Kind of overpriced because each wrap sandwich(served either cold or microwaved) ends up being almost $ 9 alone. It’s right around the corner from me and I usually only go when I just feel like getting something fast and I want a little fresh air as well. The Californian(turkey, bacon, swiss, tomato, and avocado) is usually my go-to pick. Watch the small latino guy who is ALWAYS behind the counter as he operates with impressive machine like speed whipping up 2 – 3 sandwiches at a time.

I got the Madison wrap(see picture) and it was good! Yummy wrap, smooth swiss, and delicious cole slaw. The service was excellent, my wrap was made in record speed. The prices are right and the staff is friendly. Good alternative to dining hall food that’s for sure!

Flat Breads sustained me, nutritionally and spiritually, during my senior year at Boston College. Because the Fates conspired to grant the sandwich shop the ability to accept the BC meal card, I ate there with as much regularity as I did the dining hall. The place excels at what it does for three reasons: 1) Pita quality — Aside from taquerias, there aren’t many places where you can order a wrap and be certain that the filling won’t burst through and ruin your Boston College sweatshirt. Thanks to a combination of skilled assembly and sturdy dough, you can be confident that your meal will not erupt. 2) Flavor — Anybody can throw lettuce and chicken into a wrap and call it a Caesar. Flat Breads has a tangy marinara, well-seasoned eggplant and protein, and a host of other homemade items that mean the difference between«junk you get at a Taco Bell» and«Wow, this has legitimate taste!» 3) Service — With a consistency measured in years, the employees and owner are top notch. Friendly, quick, and responsive. I’ve gone fifty times and have never had a bad experience. If you’re in the area, or matriculate at BC, make this part of the equation. You’ll thank me. And if not, don’t worry about it. Just thank them.

I find it ironic that my experience is completely the opposite of Christopher M.‘s For a long time(a long time ago) I loved Flat Breads food. My recent experience, however, solidified that I will never be giving them my business again. I went 20 minutes out of my way to go there for dinner before a meeting. I ordered my sandwich and went on my way. When I got to my meeting place there was NOSAUCE on my wrap. Eew gross. It was dry chicken and vegetables in a pita. I had a few bites and then just couldn’t deal. I called them to let them know and they suggested I come back with the sandwich to show them(they didn’t believe me). I said I couldn’t because I had a meeting and they said there wasn’t anything they could do. I asked if I could come back another time and get a free wrap and they said they didn’t have the authority to do that and I’d have to call the manager during his office hours. So I did just that — the manager apologized, and said I should come in anytime and get my free sandwich. I went back the next week, same day same time, and told the woman at the counter my situation. She proceeded to tell me that she was the one who had made my wrap, she remembered me, and she DID put sauce on it so she wasn’t giving me a free sandwich. I told her I had spoken to her manager and he said I should come back to get a free sandwich and she said he didn’t tell her about it. She continued to argue with me that she did put sauce on and she wasn’t going to give me anything. She was a COMPLETE bitch. I left, angered, and called the manager the next week. He was not very nice on the phone, but said this time he would leave a card at the register with my name on it. Needless to say, I didn’t bother going back. While the food may be fine or good, customer service like this doesn’t deserve anyone’s business.
