Disappointing. This isn’t a critique of the JC program concept of tiny portions and adherence to its food plan/prepared meals, which you either accept or don’t(I do). But the JC program also boasts about its trained, supportive counselors with whom you meet weekly. The three I met with here were anything but. You could’ve said«I murdered my family» and the answer you would’ve gotten was a disinterested«Um hum.» I’m far from a needy client but had some very specific standard questions such as how to eat at an upcoming family holiday meal. I actually asked that question three times and got ignored. The counselors’ only interest in selling their food and here, they’re no more qualified to provide support than Giant Supermarket cashiers. I lost 10 pounds here with their food and their staff. I then stayed with the JC concept, stopped going to this center, bought Lean Cuisines and lost my final 30 on my own. At least I could give myself advice and support.
