Lumix CPAs and Advisors

My team worked with Maribel Torres and Doug Whitescarver of Lumix in the fall of 2014. Our auditors needed more detailed supporting documentation and reconciliations that our internal team — even with the support of an outside consultant– had not been able to provide. Enter Lumix. Maribel and Doug came in and quickly assessed the situation. Though they had not previously worked with our particular accounting software, they came up to speed with remarkable quickness, and soon were teaching our team the proper way to handle some highly complex entries. Lumix’s problem-​solving, attention-​to-​detail, and commitment to results made the assignment successful, and highly efficient. Within days, they had identified the issue, trained us in how to fix it, and advised on internal accounting procedures that would help us avoid a similar predicament in the future.
Since that time, we have engaged Lumix in a second assignment, which like the first was completed with remarkable efficiency and precision. At the time of this writing, we have reached out to them to solicit assignment number 3. Maribel and Doug have established themselves as a key resource for this office. Although we are fortunate to have strong accountants internally, we have found that occasionally the «degree of difficulty» exceeds what we are prepared to handle. In such cases, we are pleased to count on Lumix; their skills in identifying the source of problems, then communicating, and executing solutions, have in a short time become a key part of our formula for clean and precise accounting.
