Very expensive most of the sanrio products look knock off and cheap not much to choose from. When I say everything literally everything is over priced and old. None of the sanrio stuff are worth it looks very poorly made. Honestly better in China town where you even have more to choose from and is cheaper plus better quality.

Looks like Albany Office Supply may be closing.
This store was THE place to score Sanrio swag when I was a kid in the early 90s and the best place for fancy pens and pencils for sketching. It was like a wonderland of girly awesomeness.
Now, the store is in disarray, the shelves cluttered with a weird collection of odds and ends like military lamination pockets mixed in with typewriter tape. Single items lay neglected side by side. Everything seems to have a fine layer of dust. The Sanrio section is sparse, and everything is 30% off.
Go while you still can.
It’s a sad fact that many of the businesses in Albany park are in decline.

I needed staples for two staplers that don’t use standard size staples and didn’t want to drive all the way to Staples. I discovered this place on Unilocal and thought, what the heck, might as well try them first since they are in the neighborhood. Not much to look at from outside in fact I’d driven past it a hundred times but the service was top notch.
The nice lady behind the counter took a look at my staplers and immediately knew which staples would work and the price was reasonable! She said they have been there for 30 years and I could tell she knew her stuff. From now on I’m checking here first for all my office supply needs.
Oh yeah, and if you have a Hello Kitty fetish this is the place for you in a BIG way!

My Boyfriends niece is autistic. She has trouble socializing.
Thing is, she LOVES Hello Kitty and becomes excited, even outgoing at the sight of the familiar characters– she can identify them all and talk to you about them at length about their names and identifying features.
So I pick up a little something here for her, from time to time. Though the space is small, the counter is friendly and the Hello Kitty stock substantial.
The prices are super unbeatably cheap and it makes her day.
To date, her favorite was a Hello Kitty sewing kit (Make your own Hello Kitty doll!) and that made her really proud, showing the doll she made to everyone in an enthusiastic, sweet fashion. So proud of her… and this cute shop for making a little girl so happy!

Mom and pop shop to the nth degree
Do you wish you had a Staples that was located right by the train station so you could get a few office supplies? Albany Office Supply has been around for the better part of 20 years stocked to the brim just in time for the back to school season.
When I was a kid, I would come in here to get all manner of pens, paper, envelopes, and stamps to write letters in the most fanciful manner. I’ve always been impressed by how much stuff they can fit into their store considering half of the shop is dedicated to printer ink and cartridges for fax machine toner, etc.
Albany Office Supply falls short of Staples /​Office Max /​Office Depot as you won’t find any fancy office furniture or laptops to buy. On my last visit to Albany Office Supply, I was able to get name tag stickers, a clipboard, 2 Sharpees, and a box of pens for under $ 15.

Hello Kitty fans unite! Actually, I’m too old for Hello Kitty, but this place was my go-​to spot for all things kitty 20 years ago. And they’re still here! It’s mostly an office supply store, with paper, pens, notebooks, and other supplies you need for home and school. But most kids gravitate towards the front of the store, where there’s a variety of Hello Kitty and Sanrio products.
They have coin banks, water bottles, stuffed animals, hair clips, stationary, wallets, pencils, key rings, pencil cases, and more. There used to be another store nearby that just sold Sanrio products, but they’re gone. Fortunately you can still find some of your old favorites in this store. It’s a small store, Korean owned and run. Good to see them still around.

Small neighborhood office supply shop with a basic selection of paper, envelopes, printer cartridges, etc.
But what makes it worth the trip is the wide selection of Hello Kitty (and other Sanrio) items from bento boxes to school supplies. They also have a good selection of backpacks and briefcases and are a FedEx drop off point.
