Again, wishing I could give something negative stars. My experience with them goes back a couple of years, so forgive me. I was planning my niece’s wedding(her wedding was in the area but she lives in Texas) and went to a couple of florists nearby. I was impressed by this woman’s designs and her laid back, friendly attitude. We gave her the date, the money and the flower types and asked her to be creative — her other work had been stunning. When I went to pick the flowers up, they were horrible and freakish(trust me, I like odd and unusual things — even in the context of a solemn occasion, but this was awful). The flowers were pathetic and they look rushed. When I called her the day before I was to pick them up, it sounded as if she had completely forgotten about this order! The throw away bouquet looked as if it had been thrown several times before it was given to us. She forgot to provide the pins that go with the boutonnieres and the corsages, so I had to go back to pick them up. I was pretty frazzled as the wedding coordinator but thankfully, Jana, the coordinator at the restaurant where the event was being held came to the rescue. Because the flowers were so badly assembled, so late before the wedding, I had little time to argue with the proprietor of April’s flowers. So I took them anyway and Jana took one look at them, and glanced at me(tears of frustration welling up in my eyes) and said«Let me, uh, fix these for you» and disappeared with them. She used some ribbon, twine and flowers the restaurant had and reassembled them so that they actually turned out to be half way decent! But had she not come to our rescue, my niece would have had horrid arrangements. When I finally complained to the owner of April’s flowers, she said nothing, barely apologized and didn’t even offer a partial refund. It would have been one thing if they just weren’t my taste, but everyone who saw them was stunned by how bad they were!
