Dr. Goot and his staff are fantastic. Convenient hours and lunchtime appointments are perfect for anyone who works downtown. Nice, clean office and friendly staff.

I am scared to death of dentist, and this man was great. He explained everything and didn’t hurt me. This dentist was recommended by a friend so I gave him a shot, and I am very happy I did. Dr. Goot is great!

Okay, I admit. I haven’t been to the dentist in 5 years. gasp. Let me just say that I am TERRIFIED of the dentist. I have no dental issues to speak of – I think I just live in fear of the day the dentist says the C word to me – yes, cavity (at which point I would tell them to just ‘give me the gas.’) I randomly picked a dentist off my insurance provider’s web site. It must have been fate that I discovered Dr. Goot’s office. When I called the receptionist was extremely friendly and warm. She said they could see me the next day. When I arrived at their office, the office was very modern, clean, and lo and behold, I met the receptionist who so warmly greeted me on the phone. She said, «Welcome to our office!» I filled out the information card and noted: Terrified of the dentist and low tolerance for pain. If that isn’t enough to scare off a hygienist or dentist I don’t know what can. Sue, the hygienist was very knowledgeable. Not to mention she kept it really light with me because she knew I was scared. She was very thorough and even explained some things along the way. And then Dr. Goot came in. He, too, was very knowledgeable but wow, what a great guy. He was smiling from ear to ear so he instantly put me at ease. Was I in a dentist’s office? The big scary guy with the jackhammer and mad scientist look who wants to rip my teeth out? Pinch me. Dr. Goot even offered to give me «flossing lessons» if I wanted to stop back at any time. They even sent me on my way with a goodie bag filled with samples. I felt like I had left a little kid’s birthday party with a schwag bag.
Folks, this dentist office is a keeper. I actually look forward to going back in 6 months.
