This place is pretty inexpensive, which I suppose is good. But there are endless problems with their work. Over the span of a year, they’ve destroyed a new pair of pants, failed to fix a broken zipper, forgotten to clean stains I had pointed out, forgotten to patch holes I had pointed out, and often returned items that weren’t quite clean. It’s a highly mediocre establishment, which I’m sad to say I still frequent because of its proximity to me and low price.

My boyfriend and I went here for far too long because of convenience. The first time we noticed spots on his shirts and water marks on my blouses we figured we’d give them another chance and just be more aware. Now we are noticing that the items we pick up are no cleaner than when we brought them, with dirt on the collars and cuffs of dress shirts, the most obvious places. We will not be wasting any more of our money here.

After the dry cleaners that I went to loyally for years closed, I was referred to Astor Cleaners. Fantastic. I have subsiquentlyl had lots of cleaning done here, tailoring, and even had my UGG’s cleaned here. Everything has been done exceptionally well and at what I think are very reasonable prices.

This lady can do anything. I love to purchase things on sale and take it into her for a reworking. She has moved buttons to give a coat a better fit, she’s hemmed my jeans, she’s removed fabric to give a better fit to dresses. She does original hems with no extra charge. She’s amazing. She’s fast. She’s the person I trust most to take my alterations to.
