Stumbled upon this lil gem while searching on Unilocal during my visit here from California. The gals at the front were super friendly and helped me decide on a menu item, since they have so many good looking choices. They offer burgers, to gyros, to tacos, to ribs. I ordered the bbq rib tips, which came with a side of cole slaw, garlic bread and your choice of a baked potatoe, fries or rice. I got the baked potatoe with butter and sour cream. I will definitely return before I head back home and anytime I’m back in the area.

Standard neighborhood fast food place with the usual greasy menu. It’s okay. Skip the salad, as it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a salad served at a fast food place. The chili cheese fries are decent.

Visiting Chicago and was on my way to White Castle when I saw this little place. And what a gem it turned out to be. Small joint, but busy. When you see all walks of life in there, plus Police Officers, you know it’s good.
I had the rib plate. It came with fries, slaw and garlic bread. I threw in a Chicago dog as well. Everything was hot and fresh. Food tasted great. Will go back next time I’m in town.

The prices are decent here, it can be very busy some times. But the wait isn’t long at all. They give you a lot of fries with any of the combos it comes with. The food is good, they also serve alcohol at this location.

Anthony’s is an awesome place. I went right when they closed up the store and still hooked it up with a delicious super sub and hot dogs. I’d recommend anyone to check it out and get your grub on. Excellent service, free wifi, clean, and most importantly, delicious.

Best chicken gyro around. Everything I have ordered there in the past has come out superb. For being a neighborhood spot, def one of the best. They also sell an assortment of alcoholic beverages.

My family and i like this place. They have good services. the girls taking the order are really nice. and the food is always on point. They have your basic quick food hotdogs, burgers and all that good stuff. we love their rib tip dinner some times are better than other but you know everyone has their down days. Over all we love this place they even have ice cream which is always good on a hot day.

What can I say, good food, not great food, but good food at reasonable prices and the customer service is top notch. A friend got some chicken and found it was not cooked all the way, the next time he came in one of the guys asked him how he liked the place. He said it was good except for the chicken he got the one time, the cook told him next time to call him and let him know and he would send him a replacement, and he gave him a replacement right then! Good service!

I have been coming to Anthony’s since I was little! Always great food and always great service.
The Grecian chicken is amazing and the portion is for more than one meal. Gyros are fresh off the spit and authentic with great sauce. Hot dogs are your typical GREAT Chicago style hot dog.
I would recommend Anthony’s to EVERYONE and I will continue to come back year after year!

One of the best Hot Dog stands on the Southwest side –and I’ve been to most of them. They have quick and efficient service, the same employees everytime you go there, and the same great greasy food you enjoy at a Chicago Hot Dog stand.
The have a huge leg up on the competition by being open until 1am, and it’s been my savior a few nights. There’s nothing like a gyro at 1am, when you reaaaaally want one. Word must get out, because late at night the place seems to be filled with every cop, railroad worker and airline worker on the southwest side.
