Barber Lounge

Been going for a year now and never have a problem always ask if able to when I walk in that they have room since knowing they might have someone coming in with an appointment. Always leave happy and also my son since likes it there versus some other places we go to.

I’ve been looking for a great barbershop since moving to Chicago and this place is awesome! Guillermo helped me out and did a phenomenal job. I walked in looking shaggy and walked out looking like a million bucks! He took his time and I can tell he really cared about the cut. A true professional. This place deserves 5 stars, finally found my barbershop in Chicago!

Got my boyfriend to do a shave, because he had never had one before! He worked with Dave, and it was great! Dave was friendly, talkative, and very detailistic in his work. He took about 40 minutes shaving him. Every barber in there is very talkative, and lively. Overall it was great place, good vibes, can definetly seeing my boyfriend go back there for another shave! Thanks Dave!

Best barbershop in Chicago. Call and set up an appointment so you don’t have to wait hours. Ask for Danny to chop u up. Tip well and show the shop some love. Good people great barbers.

My hubby just got home with the cutest cut and sexiest beard! He’s had difficulty finding a barber who can do good things with his thinning hair, so I think he just found his new barber! They trimmed his scruffy beard down and gave him a short cut without it being harsh military style. He said the barber was really nice and he was able to walk in without an appt or a long wait. I will definitely be sending him to this barber from now on!

This place has some of the best barbers in Chicago. The atmosphere is great and everyone’s is really professional. Alex Clase is can cut any style you want and he takes his time and does an amazing job. Book your appointment ahead of time, because he’s always busy.

Ever scored with a supermodel? Yeah me neither, but if I did I would compare it to getting a haircut here. Its that good. Good people and good service. They turn ugly people into good looking people.

Walked in Sat down. Wasn’t acknowledged for 40 min. Guy that came in after me and they Sat him and wasn’t even acknowledge at that point either.
4 people were working when I came in. 1 left without saying anything. One guy was grooming himself. 2 other guys were working.
Left without a cut.

Just recently stated to go here this past summer after switching from my long time barber of over 10 years and I have nothing but good things to say. This shop by far has met all my exceptions. Appointments or walk ins welcome and the shop owner (Danny) also my current barber is always willing to fit you in with one of his other barbers if he is not available. Clean, casual, and modern Barbershop…

This place is the best spot to get a cut. They can pretty much do any type of style you want, and they take their time in doing so to get all the details and to make sure you look your best. You have to remember if you’re going in on a Friday or Saturday, you have to make an appointment. Barber’s can have a lot of clients in their schedule so call before hand.

Best hair cut ever. This is what a modern guys barbershop should look like and how it should operate. They got flat screens on the wall at every angle so you wont miss the game while you get your cut.

I’ve been meaning to get a haircut for a couple of weeks, and this place was nearby so I figured I’d give it a try. First a bit of backstory. When I was a kid I used to go to a barber shop and I went there for YEARS — had the same barber for most of my life. When he retired a while back I’d kind of bounced around. I’d go to where my wife went but it was very expensive. Then I tried those «chain» places, and they were fine too — but seemed a bit more geared towards women than men. But the Barber Lounge was very cool. It was a man’s place. Sure the haircut was no frills, just a cut no wash included, but it was a good clean cut and VERY reasonable. Danny gave me the haircut, I thought he did a great job. As odd as it sounds, at the end when was cleaning off some of the hair he used some sort of powder that smelled like my childhood barber. It was great. I’m definitely going to try and go back for another haircut.

I visited the place for a shave after growing my 5 O’clock shadow for 6 days. The place was kicking; music, busy, etc. I was taken care of right away by Tito; I was lucky as I realized I should’ve made an appointment. He spent twenty minutes on my shave and after that time, I still felt some stubble. He resumed shaving and the results were much better. But the quality of the shave I think is less than what I expected. It did not feel as smooth as I thought it would. I tested the quality by shaving using my double edge razor (Merkur blades) when I got home. The results were that I was able to shave off additional hair. For $ 15 bucks, including hot towel, I think the shave was descent but next time, I think I will shave myself.
P. S. I told my hair stylist about the shave and she said she charges $ 5 for shaving services with a haircut.

I’ve been a number of places because of my near obsession with a taper and razor lining. Its just hard to find a good barber. That said, this place is likely my favorite. They’re a clean shop, are professional, have goodies (TVs/​playstations), take appointments (online!) and, most importantly, give proper cuts. I go to Angel, but I’m sure the rest of the barbers will do you right.

Best hair cut in a long time, not for women obviously but i like my hair cut short and Chucho does WORK!!! customer for life… or until i go bald… my dads a total cueball… sigh

The hair doesn’t grow as full and luxurious as it used to, but when it does get a bit sloppy, I go to the Barber Lounge. I love the laid back atmosphere of this barber shop. It is a men’s shop that has modern comforts, but is old school in it’s approach. My self confidence is soaring when I leave there, I always feel like a million bucks. I usually see my regular barber «Chu», he doesn’t mind if I request a «Bieber» or «Drake» haircut, as a joke, cause I ain’t got that much hair :) All the guys there are great at their profession. Parking is usually a breeze up on Milwaukee and free. I am a huge fan of the prices, check it out.
