I didn’t try the wine. This review is about the awful good. There is a lack of edible good in the United Terminal. I purchased the cheese plate. It came with stale cold bread and flavorless wax called cheese.

It’s too small with only 10 – 12 bar stools and no tables but otherwise this is one of the best airport wine bars in the country. It’s much smaller but has some commonality with the Beaudevin at Charlotte airport but if you’re in the United terminal at O’Hare this is worth a stop. Food is okay, but they don’t have a kitchen on site so don’t expect anything but sandwiches, cheese, and charcuterie which are all fine but nothing spectacular. They have beer as well as some cocktails which are generally well done but the wine choices are better than any airport establishment I’ve run across. Cristom Viognier, Merry Edwards Sauvignon Blanc, and a bunch of glass pours you never find at airports. Are they cheap? Of course not, you’re at an airport — and even outside an airport this wine is not cheap. But the wine is awesome, and the folks at Beaudevin including Lou will take care of you well if you’re not too much of a jackass so try not to constantly complain about the prices or your delayed flight. It’s an airport bar, take it for what it is and know that everything is overpriced because they have to pay The Machine to operate here. But if you’re going to pay an arm and a leg to drink at O’Hare anyhow you might as well go to Beaudevin, especially if you’re into wine this is the only place to be.

I honestly didn’t have a good experience here. One of the bartenders was extremely rude– the older bartender(don’t remember the name.) He acted like he was doing me a favor by being served there. I’m sorry, but I thought I was doing the company a favor by consuming here? I ordered one drink and that came out to be $ 13. Have I had known it was going to be that expensive, I wouldn’t have sat down here. For that price, I would not have sat down at this establishment for the service I received. I won’t be going to any of these locations in the airports while I’m traveling. I’ll go to a more fun restaurant/bar with drinks half the price with nicer and more pleasant employees.

Just stopped for an expresso so it is hard to mess up. Met Nancy who is very friendly and has worked here at O’Hare in various food establishments for 32 years. Her cheerful attitude made my day.

Great place to grab a salad on the go. One of the few truly healthy /fulfilling options in Terminal C. I didn’t get a chance to sample their wine list since every seat was taken.

Freakin horrid. Maybe it was what I ordered(chicken tartine), but it had to be the blandest sandwich I’ve ever had. Couldn’t finish the thing and went down to McD’s to clean my palate! Lol

I had a glass of wine to go as this tiny establishment was extremely crowded of people standing around sipping their wine waiting for someone to get up. Left a $ 2 tip which is more than reasonable and the bartender picked up my receipt, made a big commission w loud comments and hand gestures, and started laughing. He showed the receipt to his fellow bartender and they made a comment ‘she must be a spring breaker’. How dare these bartenders make such rude comment to a customer. It’s ridiculous that I didn’t even get any service nor sat down at this tiny place. I travel for work every week and am at this airport every Monday and Thursday. Will not be back and make sure my friends who travel through this airport know about this. There are plenty of other options to get a glass of wine at this airport, especially in terminal B and E which is only a short walk away.

Beaudevin happened to be by my gate(the fifth gate my flight was switched to thanks to that FAA fire starting scumbag). After another delay in departure, I grabbed a bar stool and decided to have a drink while I waited. I knew exactly what I wanted. They featured a few specialty drinks on their list above the bar and on the menu I was handed. I wanted the South Bound Flight because the description drew me in. It sounded like it would be a vacation for my taste buds. Unfortunately, they discontinued that drink a while back, yet haven’t removed it or made note of it anywhere, and couldn’t seem to offer any real replacement comparable to it. The best the bartender could suggest was sparkling wine, which I ordered but was much less enthusiastic about. Prosecco. No cucumber. No cilantro. No lime. No agave nectar. No tequila… No bueno. As I was served my drink another patron was offered a White Russian. Why couldn’t I have been offered that? Drats!

George and Cesar are incredible! No seriously! They’re outstanding. Make an effort to see them and I guarantee it’ll be worth the wait to squeeze in. They’re worth every second and every penny. Grab a seat, a drink and a bite. They’ll entertain you and serve you. Absolutely amazing.

What a great place to stop for a glass of wine and some meats and cheeses! I was having a tough day, delayed flight, TSA line long and I found this oasis. Soothing piano music and a cheery bartender. What more could you ask for… I wish I had one of these in my neighborhood!

I was hoping to find a Vino Volo in terminal C, but I remember coming here two years back and thinking, ‘meh.’ Still meh, but I have to give them props for making it easy to enjoy good quality food and decent wine quickly. The wine list isn’t something to be too excited about, and neither is their food(it’s all prepackaged), but if you’re like me and just want to have a wine buzz during your flight, it’s perfect.

I think this place is not an oasis to me. I saw a bartender keep serving one patron over and over to the point that I doubt he would get on the plane. The bartenders need to show a bit of restraint. Shame on this place.

Delays delays delays. O’hare, you just never disappoint me with the endless delays. Located in terminal C, this piano(well on auto play) is a nice oasis while you wait for your flight. They have probably a dozen seats but turnover is quite fast. Just order and if you’re lucky you’ll get a seat. If not, you can also just stand there and hang out. It’s still ten times better than waiting at the gate staring at he boarding time that keeps on changing. One of the bartender guys was a bit much but whatever I am not there to speak to him. He was calling out customers to come and drink — not exactly the kind of piano bar experience but again better than the gate . And be ready to pay airport premium prices as well. $ 15 for a glass of saving in blanc.

I love this place. I love this place so much I book flights through O’Hare deliberately, with just enough time for a mimosa, a perfectly pale mimosa, meaning a scosh more bubbly than OJ. Divine. And Nancy is the BEST!

Layovers happen. But they’re much more enjoyable if you stop by O’Hare’s wine bar, Beaudevin! Let’s be clear: this is more of a wine counter than a wine bar… still, I was impressed with their wine selection. Denominations include a 3-oz pour, a 6-oz pour, or wine by the bottle. Prices were reasonable too considering the selections are quality and that Beaudevin is located in an airport. Hungry? They sell artisan cheese and charcuterie platters and smaller plates featuring olives and figs… a welcome change-up from the typical sandwich and beer pairing while trapped at the airport, yeah? The women working behind Beaudevin’s counter are friendly and accommodating — I didn’t know it was possible to experience so much cheer at the airport! Please keep a stool warm for me because I will be back.

Another Friday here with Nancy and the bar packed. Nancy is busy serving delicious drinks and reminding people about the bonus of charging while enjoying a cocktail. Nancy’s energy has everyone excited to be here. Simply Amazing

By far the most gourmet nice little place I’ve ever seen in an airport. I was like Scottish salmon?! Sign. Me. Up. Of course I had a lot of time between flights so I was messing around with the little kit, but it was great! It came with two mini bagels, smoked salmon, capers, cream cheese, arugula, feta cheese, tomatoes, onions, and a lemon wedge. I was gettin fancy in that terminal!!!

As airline travel grows less glamorous by the decade, finally there’s hope. After arriving in ORD, I had a few hours to kill between flights. With so much time on my hands, I was doing my «airport zombie walk» — a bored, dazed and mostly aimless lumbering through an airport terminal in the general direction of my next flight. Through my mental fog, I heard ambient piano music playing and reminisced about the heightened shopping experience at nicer department stores. Wait! Piano music??? In an airport? I stopped and eyed in disbelief the baby grand player piano. The modern-designed wine bar has the look of a European-styled spot with a granite-topped bar, chandeliers made of wine glasses and Scandinavian-inspired wood fixtures. There was only one stool left, vacated as I walked up. I was about to realize I wasn’t the only person in need. This wine bar offers more than 20 wines by the glass, bottle or flights to be paired with small plates like olives or figs, or various tartines like the roasted herb chicken, turkey berry with goat cheese or a Scottish smoked salmon. The Nickel & Nickel Suscol Ranch Merlot 2009 was a comforting find at a reasonable per-glass price, as were the assorted cheese and cold cuts even though they were plated ahead of time. The bar staff were attentive but not meddling. Being an open bar in a busy airport terminal, I curiously surveyed the other guests. I observed a few stopped in for a beer or glass of wine before heading back on their way, while others(such as myself) stayed to engage others in conversation. Ages ranged from a 20 year-old radio technician visiting his family on leave from the Army to a late 50’s-ish gentleman who talked extensively about the 2008 vintage of the Nickel & Nickel Merlot, and everything in between. This airport zombie was enlivened and renewed, and I pressed on to my connecting flight happier than ever. I highly recommend Beaudevin in Terminal 1, Concourse C near Gate 17.

Be still, my heart! A wine bar located in the concourse of O’Hare that I use the most? It is a gift from the heavens, to be sure! Imagine my surprise when I walked down the concourse to the tinkling tunes of a grand piano playing lounge like tunes. I looked up and there are«kitschy» chandeliers made up of wine glasses. And a bar with leather topped stools just looking for a patron to sit down and enjoy a glass of one of their 25 or so wines, a handful of which are in those«Enomatic» wine machines that keep it chilled to just the perfect temperature and gives you just a perfect«pour». The menu consists of salads, chacuterie and cheese plates, caprese skewers, shrimp skewers and several other things which I have already forgotten(must have been the 2 glasses of wine!) And the gal working behind this mirage of a bar? Delightful. She made my wait seem, dare I say, almost enjoyable! So since those leather stools were calling my name, I sat with a chacuterie plate and a lovely glass of vino or two before sprinting to my gate. But trust me…I will be back…in fact, given my travel schedule, I’m likely to become a regular at this place. Hmm. .. .think they’ll post a «Now Boarding» board behind the bar??? :)

Behind security in Terminal 1 — Concourse C, Beaudevin is an offshoot of the Brussels airport bar that won Best Airport Winebar in the world last year( ). They just opened last Friday(2÷10÷12) and have a sleek green, modern look. They have about a dozen each of whites and reds as well as small plates to go along with them. Wine can be had in 3oz or 6oz pours or by the bottle. Eight of their wines are on nitro taps( ). They also have coffee, limited breakfast items, and hard alcohol for your AM Bloody Mary needs. It’s more of a fancy counter in the Cocourse hall with maybe 8 stools vs. the larger version opened in Miami airport, also run by HMS Host. We were there at 9am, so stuck with the coffee, which is Illy. Very friendly bartender. Pretty good breakfast sandwich with bacon and egg-salad on croissant with a side of grapes.
