Went to this place after my first walk through of a home our family is buying 2 blocks away and immediately took to it. Have been there 3 times and haven’t even closed on our home. Really excited about adding this place to my daily routine! Great coffee and tea and the scone was perfect. Very relaxed atmosphere.

I loove this coffee shop! I just moved to Chicago a few months ago and I’ve been looking around for a good place to study and this is it! It’s a lot quieter than most cafes and the music isn’t too loud or overpowering. It’s a small place with a cozy feel. The staff are really friendly and they make the best coffee. I love all the specialty drinks, but even just the Bottomless Drip is nice and strong. They have a few teas to choose from as well and I’m hoping to try one next time around. I haven’t tried any of their food yet, but their Lemon Poppy seed muffin is amazing.

It’s a cozy place and now a common place to take my friends and just chat over coffee. I found it here through Unilocal and I am glad I did. The atmosphere is nice and calm, the owners and workers are sweet and always ready for conversation and the coffee selection is great!

I thought I already reviewed Brew Brew! I love this coffee shop. It’s the perfect addition to the neighborhood, and I have the great fortune of living just a block away. The atmosphere is open and relaxed, and owners are lovely. They had some unique and delicious fall drinks – my favorite variety of drinks! The food is also very good. The sandwiches are substantial and really fresh. And can we talk about the fact they had Santa there on Sunday, with free cocoa for the kids who came to see him? Adorable.

Delicious cold brew for a fair price. Metropolis served here. Much better tasting than the big chains. Pleasant atmosphere. Non-metered street parking available. Convenient location a few blocks off Kennedy. There’s a lovely park right across the street.

Slightly pricey, but head and shoulders above the other options in this area in terms of product quality and the quality of the space. Really nice staff and environment. Wish it was open slightly later than 7 but I understand why they close when they do. Don’t have much to say about the food because I haven’t tried most of it, but the coffee and beverage menu is all executed really well. Top notch.

Recommended by my friend who frequents this place, and I really liked it. Great cold brew, friendly brother and sister working behind the counter. Calm and collected atmosphere. Did I mention the cold brew is great? They have been open just over a year. Soon to be making breakfast sandwiches. I’ll be coming back. Thanks Christian and Jasmine!!!

Brew Brew Coffee Lounge may not have the flashy, stylish exteriors and a logo of the Statue of Liberty painted in green, but they have friendly faces, neighborhood serenity, and quality coffee from Metropolis. After a trip to the bank on a Saturday morning, Rosa J. and her hubby needed to continue their days with energy and open eyes. I occasionally passed by Brew Brew when running errands at Logan Square/Avondale neighborhoods on Diversey, one(1) block east from Pulaski and directly across from the Kosciusko Park. Other than the basic fresh-brewed coffee such as Americano and Red Eye, they have a few caffeinated specialty beverages. We adventurous people ordered a medium mocha, a medium tiramisu latte, and a poppyseed muffin. The total came to $ 11.45. I would say prices were fair for the neighborhood standard. When I was settling down, pulling my i-pad mini out of my bag, and logged onto their free wifi, our drinks were delivered to our table. How kind! That’s why I like the local neighborhood coffee shops, because there’s no need to ask for names and write them with a sharpie on the cups. Their tiramisu latte was listed on the«special menu» on the black board in the back. If you like to «drink your dessert in a cup,» I would definitely recommend this creatively-crafted beverage to you Unilocal sweet lovers! Their matcha mocha was quite solid as well. After all, you can’t go wrong with Metropolis coffee in the house! I wish a community coffee house like Brew Brew Coffee Lounge exists in my hood, Albany Park. Perhaps re-creating BBCL will be my next mission in life… you never know!

Well another reason to pop in at a local coffee establishment a teeny bit away from my neighborhood. My apartment lease is up this month and the hubs, daughter(aka babygirl in mother’s eyes) and I wanted to be out of the apt while the landlord had a showing of the apt. So off we went while I asked to hit a new coffee café. Brew Brew’s café is so soothing to the eye. It has a lovely floorplan with local art hanging, wood tables, a comfy couch. Décor is just lovely and simple. Its located across from Kosciuszko Park on the corner of Diversey and Avers. Easy street parking. Ordered a Cortado and blueberry scone. Cortado was solid and the scone was warmed up for me without asking so that was a nice touch. Husband liked his coffee(Metropolis)…it seems he digs Metropolis coffee brand versus those cafes that serve other brands. Babygirl had a Matcha green tea latte. She is usually a Chai gal but she was pleased. told me its her new favorite… so win! Here is the kicker, husband ordered a bagel and while he patiently waited for about 10 minutes, he decided to give them a heads up, when he did they were so apologetic, had it ready for him and hooked him up with a free drink in the future. Totally nice. Customer service was on point. Another Local Coffee/Tea lounge to check out and support. Support the local coffee places, they are just rad! I will be back. Pics soon to follow.

Brew Brew has quality drinks from Metropolis Coffee and Rishi Tea. I usually stick to the basics, and they have great coffee and tea. The café is small and quiet, but has a good number of small tables as well as a group table, bar seating and a couch. Very laid back atmosphere and the typical coffee house music. All positive, so you may wonder why an average rating? Prices are close to Starbucks — higher than independently operated shops. They are also closed earlier on weekday nights at 7pm. Last, I don’t think it has as much personality as some of the trendy or hipster cafes.
