I had for the first time for NYE at a friend’s house. The Mongolian Beef was over-loaded with onions and was more like Mongolian Onions. The shrimp fried rice was dry. The eggrolls were decent. Overall, I’ve had much better Chinese food. I’m glad I tried; but, Chinese Kitchen has not been added to my ‘go-to’ list in Bridgeport.

I like this place. Second time here. Came with a couple of friends. Great sushi. Good apps. I just had the beef chicken shrimp in garlic sauce and I had them put it over pan friend noodles. Very good. Lot parking. Friendly service. English not so good but the menu has pictures. Point and order! Lol Two large TVs with sound. Great for monday night football. Good prices also.

Really bad customer service. Skip this place! Tried to order for a delivery and had all sorts of problems. Tried to call and check on my order but got all sorts of attitude from the girl on the phone.

Food has gotten worse, and the service got worse. They filled up the water glasses half way with warm water. We had to ask for ice… My daughter’s noodle stir fry dish had no flavor at all, but at least yhey didn’t make us pay for it. My wife’s shrimp weren’t even deveined… This was my first really bad experience with them. SMH

This is the worst chinese restaurant EVER! The girl behind the counter is ignorant and rude!!! Screwed up my order 3 times, over charged me & started yelling at me in front of customers. Not to mention how DIRTY this place is — did me a favor by being a bitch — heard all stories about the bugs & rudeness — now I witnessed it all! Do not patronize this restaurant! Only gave 1 star in order to post this review. Deserves –10

This place deserves no stars the worst most unprofessional place I’ve ever attempted to order from I just ordered for delivery waited well over an hour and still didn’t receive my food… So I call to check and they’re going to tell me we called you 5 times and no answer our driver was there mind you it’s very nice out so my fiancé and I were waiting on the porch no one came here no one attempted to call! So he tells me I’ll send it out now… Another 30 minutes later I had to call the restaurant 10 times to finally get an answer and he tells me I’m waiting for a driver to come back for more deliveries do I say so now I have to wait a whole hour again? I’m good this is the second time I’ve had this same experience last time we waited two hours for the driver to go to the wrong house and keep telling me he was out front, I thought I’d give it another try tonight and now I regret it two hours later… Horrible service! Beware ordering from here!

This place ONLY gets a star so I can write this review. HOW is a restaurant CONTINUALLY out of food? Why do they deliver to your house 5 times then suddenly an hour after you place your order you’re outside of their delivery zone… aka the driver didn’t feel like driving the extra 3 blocks. This is complete and utter BULLSHIT. Customer service? Ha, that’s a funny joke. I can’t fucking stand laziness and lack of attention to detail. Fuck this place. Other than that, the food is moderately priced and ok.

I went in and ordered 3 sushi rolls, I waited an hour to get them. I kept asking them if it was ready, because I had already waited 30 mins and the people coming in after me got their food before I got my 3 sushi rolls. I Will never come to this place again! When they finally gave me my food, I told it them it was ridiculous that I waited and hour for 3 rolls, he looked at the receipt to see what time I ordered and he say«oh you want a soda?» Are you freaking kidding me?!

I went during lunch and ordered the salt and pepper squid. The food was ok but they are me little squid and so much rice. I barely ate the rice and so wasteful. The service was definitely slow. There wasn’t a lot if people in the restaurant but it took awhile so I had to rush to make sure I didn’t stay out too late for my break.

Hi Stephanie? Thanks for getting back to me! I cannot describe him. But i ordered the delivery the first time from your restaurant on 12⁄28(on Sunday) by noon. I understand that you guys have a third party delivery company, but i believe work is work. Thanks!

You had me at no MSG :-) when did this place get a dining room? I have been a faithful Happiness on 34th& Halsted girl all my life… but I believe that has changed as of this evening! The Godzilla sushi was awesome *next I will be trying the Monkey Brains, simmer down– just one of the many clever names they have on the sushi menu. I don’t Unilocal often but when I do it’s because I either want a place to stay around for ever or to be destroyed. Eat here eat here!

I really enjoy this place. They have REALLY good fried rice, Orange Chicken and Mongolian Beef. The prices are unbeatable and they are fast. Now the reason I gave only 3 stars is because they do not know how to cook Lo Mein. I ordered it and it was gross. Canned mushrooms(yuck) and a clear sauce that would be use for Chow Mein. I never had Lo Mein the way they made it and didn’t enjoy it. I wish they would learn to make it correctly. Even though this is my favorite place to go to, they need to work on perfecting some of their dishes. All in all I still order from them.

Went in and got my food to go. Was home eating and enjoying the food. Got ready to eat the pot stickers and there was a roach in the sauce for the pot stickers. Needless to say, I took the food back & I’m not ever going back.

Good and cheap. What else do you want from asian food? Plus, there’s a parking lot! And free wifi ;-)

Well, it started out better than my last attempt at ordering from here; at least I got my food this time. I ordered through GrubHub this time, my order came in a timely fashion, and the delivery person was friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, that’s where the good part ends. I ordered pot stickers, wonton soup, Szechuan beef, and pork fried rice. I get the order to my desk, and notice there is a big puddle of brown liquid at pooled in the bottom of the plastic bag. What happened, is that the little plastic container of sauce for my pot stickers had melted, then it escaped through a hole in the melted styrafoam of the container. Actually, both foam containers had melted some from the steam. So I started off with a big mess. The quality of the food ranged from downright horrible, to decent. In the decent category: pot stickers, and fried rice(actually, I will say the pork fried rice was the best part; fresh and not too salty,) and the soup. On the other hand, the beef was just horrible. I ate about three bites, and just could not go any further. The meat and vegetables were just unpleasantly soggy. You could not tell the difference between the two. The rest of the order found it’s way to the trash bin.

The food is priced very well and the Singapore noodle is the biggest I’ve ever seen and at only 5 dollars that’s awesome. Why one star then if it’s so awesome? Well, I don’t know what they use for their sauce or whatever but it smells awful. It smells like bologna, sweat and musk. I ate about four forkfuls of it before I threw it away. Which hurt my soul. Because I’m cheap. I also got the vegetable tempura, which was not tasty. Ate one carrot and threw that away too. $ 10.54 down the drain. I know nothing was wrong with it because I have a very sensitive stomach and I would’ve gotten sick instantly so I don’t know what that ghastly smell is.

I always drive by but never came in for food. I finally had the courage after a good 10 years of coming by here. I trusted Unilocalers on their reviews so I came here by choice as opposed to Maxewells. I kind of regret it. I ordered my childhood favorite«beef stir fried with thick rice noodles»(comes with onions and scallions/green onions). I specifically told them to go easy on the oil, but that didn’t happen(I’m on a diet). My noodles were still drowning in oil. Usually this dish is a challenge to make since it requires enough oil so it doesn’t stick to the wok and the art is to toss the seasoning evenly on the noodles and beef. I guess being the top 8 Chinese restaurant didn’t help.(I’m guessing the food they made for the competition was different from what’s served on the menu because I honestly don’t taste it.) The noodles were still stuck together(from package) and were barely touched with sauce, this also contributed to an uneven taste; some of the noodles were salty and some didn’t have any taste. My date ordered the beef with tofu(dark sauce). It was really salty in my opinion. I didn’t taste anything special about it besides being covered in sauce. There were plenty of gnats and night fliers when we went in to eat. The person who took our orders were busy texting(face was literally glued to the phone for extended periods of time). I kindly asked for attention but the phone interrupted and I was not acknowledged. I doubt I will come back if my requests were to be ignored. Top 8 restaurants? I would agree, but I doubt that title was acquired by cooking what are currently offered on the menu.

Tried their beef and tomato over rice. Meh! It was saucy like I like, but the beef was cheap quality and the tomato wasn’t very tender and too big of a chunk. Just go to chinatown!
