I have not actually used this service. Chiro One reps were at my gym and told me I couldn’t receive intake/​x-​rays from my insurance company but I could sign up for a $ 20 intake/​xray appt. I did because I was not doing much critical thinking that day, but then read reviews on Unilocal and became nervous that they would charge me extra for xrays that were «free». Also, they said they accept «any» insurance but couldn’t promise that my HMO would pay the bill. Which seems like code for they don’t know what they are talking about. I cancelled the appt and asked for a refund. Casey from Chiro One texted me that same night and easily gave me a refund.
Yuck for shady sales. Yay for good customer service.

Chiro One has changed my life. It has been a positive experience for me. After consulting with several back surgeons, I sought their help for chronic back pain. I reached a point of great frustration; trying to find answers to alleviate the pain I was experiencing for several months.
I appreciate the great confidence and care they placed in me. They encouraged me to be patient, and guided me along the way to finding relief. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for help with spine issues. The staff is warm, welcoming and professional. Dr. Kartina is amazing. I am impressed by her knowledge, skill and ability.

I cant explain how frustrating and irritated I am investing my time there for my consultation. Can you say, aggressive selling?! Selling me on a package of visits and using tactics to convince/​scare you that you have serious health conditions. Worst experience ever. This is what gives chiropractors a bad wrap. I would encourage anyone suffering from back, neck, etc pain to stay away from this franchise. Upon further research, I found this article.

I understand that there are those of you who have had bad chiropractic experiences. This review is not one of them. Since 1976 I have been suffering from chronic episodic sciatic pain. I have had physical therapy, been seen by neurosurgeons and other chiropractors with no relief. I was chronically depressed, trouble sleeping and my feet hurt constantly. As a result I was over weight and knew that I could not continue to function like I was. I ran into a representative from Chiro one. I figured it couldn’t hurt so I would give it a try. I was sent to Dr. Katrina at the River North Chiro One office and my life has changed dramatically. I am no longer on anti depressants, I haven’t had but one sciatica episode in the past year, i sleep through the night and was able to drop 25 lbs because I could get moving. I am a believer now.
The office personnel is top notch. The therapy starts when Bailey, Kenisha and Omar greet you at the door. It is a total stretching, strength enhancing and spinal adjustment experience that leaves you feeling fabulous. My entire ability to function and mobility has improved one hundred fold and I am convinced it is because of the treatment and the fact that the people in this office really care about you.
