Cholie’s Pizza

I like this place, has a family owned vibe to it. So much so that my food was served on two different house plates and one styrofoam plate. Shrimp was good, pizza was good, and the people who work here are super polite and kind. I’d come back, this place is what is, it’s not a four star restaurant it’s a neighborhood pizza joint. If you criticized how it looks in your review, you’re probably a tool or just an A hole.

This place use to be one of favorite places, but last time I ordered the food tasted horrible, pizza don’t taste the same !

Horrible customer service w attitude even though it’s been an hour and a half without our pizza. When I call to remind them about it they answer my call only to hang up once again. Have no idea why they treat me like this I always ordered from there, not calling them again

Never had I had such a horrible customer service experience in my life. Ordered for delivery and I received the wrong food. When I called to fix my order the person who I spoke to (who ended up being the owner) was very defensive and condescending. All I wanted was for my order to be rectified. The guy continually yelled at me that it was what I ordered and I felt like hanging up. Instead I took the high road and thanked him and then proceeded to hang up. The way he spoke to me I was definitely afraid of getting spit in my food and the food was for four children under the age of 8. They should not have to eat food that way. I honestly don’t care how great your food is, if your customer service is horrible I will not go back to your establishment.
Needless to say I will not be giving these people my money and I will be going elsewhere. This is Chicago! There are pizza places all over.

I’ve enjoyed the pizza and some of the other items on the menu, but the service is poor. The girl that sometimes takes the orders (I.e. Friday evenings) is downright rude from beginning to end. She seems highly inconvenienced by the call! For this reason I am unable to leave a better review despite the food being good.

I’ve been coming to this place for years. Pizza isn’t spectacular, but it’s pretty good compared to the other places in the area. The pizza is always on time, whether for pick-​up or delivery. As far as pizza and fries go, this place is great. Haven’t tried the other food.

We ordered for pick-​up the other day, large pizza and hot wings. The price was reasonably good for our order. The pizza was good but I must admit that I was looking forward to the wings. So when we got home I opened the wings and drooled… the wings were big and meaty but the ranch sauce was GROSS! It tasted like generic mayonnaise with green confetti in it. I honestly look forward to the sauce… it’s all about the sauce to me. But I couldn’t eat them. The thought of it being mayo and the look of it was very unappealing. :-(
