Club Monaco

Staff is great here. I love the clothes at Club Monaco. Yes, it’s pricey but the quality and the amount of compliments I get on the unique pieces I buy are kinda worth it. As long as you’re willing to take it, they’ll be honest as to what looks good on you and what doesn’t. I just wish I could shop here more often.

Terrible customer service. I complained about the long wait for a fitting room, and two sales associates literally got in my face and yelled at me. That is no way to treat a customer, even if it’s a busy day. Awful place with overpriced clothing. Unfortunate experience.

This is my favorite CM location in this city. The staff here is friendly and helpful, they have both men’s and women’s and the store is well kept. I prefer visiting this location over the one in Wicker Park any day, despite the latter being just down the street from me.

I’m the last person to talk to about fashion, so when this place came recommended to me from a buddy, I figured I had no basis to not at least give it a chance. I came specifically looking for a few pairs of khakis, and was pleasantly surprised with the selection. Prices weren’t over the range I was expecting (the pair of khakis I got were $ 70), and the style was pretty cool.
The only issue I had was that they didn’t have my size in the other color of khakis I wanted to get. I’m a 34/​34, which is usually less common of a size but is common enough where the store at least has a few pairs in stock. They had the standard tan but the navy pair wasn’t in stock. The girl said she’d call me when they came in, at which point I’ll head back and pick em up, but I was a little disappointed that they weren’t there initially. Life goes on.
Wikipedia describes Club Monaco as a «mid-​priced, high-​end casual clothing retailer» which didn’t really make sense to me until I walked in. I’ll go back here for sure.

The staff here is so wonderful! For an expensive store, you’d think they might be snotty – but it is totally the opposite. They are incredibly helpful with picking out outfits and stocking your fitting room, they let you take your time, and they are always friendly when you walk in. And obviously, the clothing is fabulous.

I like Club Monaco’s clothes. I just wish this location was bigger. The Mens’ section at this location is pretty small, though it’s the only Club Monaco in Chicago which has a mens department. Staff is really friendly.
Guess it’s better than nothing.

What a great find while we were in Chicago! I was on a quest looking for a Newsboy (Apple) cap and wandered into Club Monaco on Halsted. It is a very hot store with great clothes for both men and women and the service matches the store. My wife and I both bought clothes spontaneously! When we returned to Denver, we found one of the coats we purchased was shipped in the wrong size. When we called back (a week later), they remembered us and sent the right size. They’re a great specially store and I recommend them highly.

I don’t shop here but I came with a friend to check out their sales. I feel like CM never changes their designs and season after season it’s the same stuff. But I got some tops only because they were majorly discounted.
Another plus to this store is that if you are a student, you get 20% off!

Well, this has to be my new Club Monaco since they closed the men’s store at the 900 Shops. Bastards! I guess the only bonus will be that I will be able to visit Barney’s Co-​Op more often since it’s across the street.
Anyway, it has the exact same layout as other Club Monaco stores (men to the left, girls on the right). I had a few exchanges to make and decided not to even tempt myself by looking at the goods hanging on the rack. I’m sure they had some wonderful sale items because they always do! Oh, and I was given excellent customer service.
I also found out that Club Monaco will be opening a new store on State Street. Unfortunately, the associate didn’t know where it will be located, but I have a feeling it will be near or at Block 37. I CAN’T WAIT!

Like all Club Monaco stores, the clothes are gorgeous and the prices are a little high, but the friendly employees at this location definitely make it stand out. I’ve been to several Club Monaco locations around the US over the past few years, and I’ve always been a little put off by the attitude of the sales staff. (In some stores, the employees went so far as to roll their eyes whenever I asked if a particular size was available.) However, at this store, I was looking for a belt that wasn’t in stock, and two of the employees spent a half-​hour calling other stores to get it shipped from another location (it ended up coming from LA). I will definitely be back!
