Cremería La Ordeña #2 is a really nice specialty store, many varieties of homemade mole, Oaxacan cheese and dairy products, maple pecan yogurt anyone? Homemade chorizo and morcilla, even chapulines(free tastes), which you can get seasoned or in tamales(edit: chipilin, my bad). Some cool decorative stoneware pitchers on the top shelves around the store. It’s a fun place to explore, and i’ll be returning again for sure. This article put the store on my radar: It didn’t disappoint. The place was spotlessly clean, and the lady working here was friendly. Lots of unusual specialty items, they are really carving out their own niche which is admirable in a sea of mediocre taquerias and dollar stores. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
