Let’s forget about the food for a second and how clean the interior should be. This is a corner diner after all, so can’t expect much. I want to talk to you«David’s Grill» about your coffee. Coffee is the simplest thing that anyone can make. Is it so hard to get a new coffee machine that won’t have that after taste of old burnt coffee taste. Coffee should not stand there for days until it’s completely gone. It should be replaced with time, so the coffee is fresh instead of tasting like it was last weeks coffee. I ate here a billion of times.(Wish I did not) I am not even going to discuss the food, but the coffee is consistently bad every single time. I wish that the owner would invest into a new coffee machine and throw that 1980’s burnt coffee machine out. Why do I keep going back? Well. Ask a crackhead why he/she goes back to the dealer even though they know the stash is half assed. When you have an addiction and it’s the only place around, you take whatever you can when you need it no matter how bad it is.

I ordered 2 eggs and ham to go and asked for a cup of water. Just before getting the food, I paid the bill and it seemed a bit high. I questioned it and the server told me they charge .50 for the cup(of water). I have never been charged for a cup of water in my entire life. If they are going to charge for that, how come I wasn’t told there is a fee for it when I ordered? They just added it to my bill. I will never go back and don’t recommend it. In this economy, save your money and go somewhere where you can get a free cup of water. The food was average.

I live a block away from this Mexican-American joint, and I find myself going there at least once a week. It’s great for breakfast lunch and dinner. They have excellent daily specials with large portions for cheap. Sandwich, fries and a drink for under $ 6. The tacos are dope and they pile more toppings on their super nachos than you can shake a stick at(under $ 6). I’m giving this place four stars because one time I received gristly meat on my tacos. But overall this place is the tops

I can’t think of any other diner-meets-taqueria I’d rather visit at 5:00AM! Conveniently located just steps from my apartment, it is the perfect fill-me-up-make-me-sleep meal after a long night of work. Whether it be huevos rancheros, french toast, or steak and eggs; you will get hearty portions on the CHEAP! Steak and eggs for $ 5-something! C’mon! I’ve been there for lunch and dinner too, and can only say good things. They offer all your standard corner grill type sandwiches, including really tasty burgers that aren’t too small. They also have salads, dogs, a few dinners, and a Mexican selection including fajitas.
