DOL is the new Korean portion of the expanded Yuki Hana, but has its own menu and seem to be it’s own new restaurant. New restaurant openings can run into a lot of problems, and I experienced problems throughout my meal here. If this was an established restaurant, I think a fair, objective rating would be 1 out of 5. Our meal started with being seated at the remaining two chairs of a 4 person table where a lovely couple was already enjoying their meal! It was an uncomfortable and confusing situation all around, except for the server, who didn’t see what was so weird about the arrangement. After being re-sat to our own table, there were long waits when nothing happened, followed by being served food items that we didn’t order. I actually felt bad for the servers, because I think the problem is they were overwhelmed and undertrained to deal with the weekend crowd. The chap chai and sushi were the only items I thought worthwhile to get here. The soondubu was not really that great, and the consistency of the soup was a bit off. I hope DOL gets through their growing pains with their service and kitchen management. The food itself warrants a 3⁄5.
