Dr Lenard Schwartz Optometrist

Dr. Schwartz is great! He is really funny, tells it like it is, extremely knowledgeable, and takes his time to answer any questions. Another reason why I like him is because his office is very convenient, only about a ten minute drive from home with ample street parking. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Schwartz is affable, has a great sense of humor and is extremely knowledgeable in his field. I went in for an eye exam and forgot my previous pair of prescription at home. He had an amazing, professional attitude about that. He tested my vision, was extremely through but told me he still needs to look at my previous pair to know exactly what I had and why I was dizzy wearing them.
Here’s why my review is important; my appointment for him to check my older prescription was today, Monday June 30^th 2014. There was a severe thunderstorm due within minutes of my appointment. Although I got a call from his office to check and see if I could make it earlier (I couldn’t), not for a single second did I feel rushed. He checked my previous glasses, and took another set of through measurements to be sure! Extremely competent, professional and courteous, 5 stars!
Caveat: one of his staff members has a clear «I hate my job» attitude. She disliked scheduling me for the evening to bring back my glasses and made no effort to hide it (I know to forget them was my fault) don’t expect smiles, help with frames, friendly attitude there, but that is probably the least of the concerns with the quality services Dr. Schwartz provides himself. I don’t know the names of the staff, but the other lady is very nice and helpful, so really no stars taken away because of one small factor.

Dr. Schwartz really knows his field. I have been to a few different eye doctors and he has been the best i seen. He gave me a very thorough eye exam and explained everything that is going on with my vision and eyes and also the right prescription i needed as well as how to use them. I didn’t feel rushed like other places he took his time with me. The ladies at the front desk are also very nice and helpful as well. I highly recommend Dr. Schwartz if you are looking for an eye doctor.

Dr Schwartz is awesome! He takes his time to make sure that he has the right measurements for your prescription. He gives you advice on good contact brands. If he gives you a new brand to try he orders a sample pair for you to try it out before you purchase the brand for you.

Great experience, great doc, he really knows his stuff. I just wish he had a larger selection of eyewear. But truly a great, experienced optometrist. He even discovered I had a wrong prescription in one lens that was given by Americas Best.
