First, this Dunkin Donuts is IN the Marquette Building. You have to enter on the Dearborn side and walk past the security desk, past the shops, through the revolving doors, and then, voila, there is a small Dunkin Donuts. No chairs, no tables, but just the right size when you want your breakfast/lunch/whenever meal/coffee FAST. Staff has always been super friendly, really fast, and everything has always been very fresh. I never even KNEW this place existed until my brother took me here one day. Stop in if you want quick service and not a huge crowd.

After realizing how much money I spent on Starbucks I decided to switch to dunkin. What a wise decision. Cheaper and in my opinion better. This particular location is close to my work and is my go to spot for my morning coffee. The workers are very friendly and alway start working on my drink as soon as they see me(iced coffee xtra skim 2 Splenda). Thanks again for making my morning a little easier.

Love DD and Love that this one is so close to my office, and staffed with bright/sweet/friendly/fast folks. BUT, today was the 2nd time in two weeks I’ve discovered a hair in my food when I got to my office. The girls at the register are all as «battened down» as they should be, but in the actual food-prep/sandwich-making area it is nothing but loose, floppy ponytails going every which way. Don’t know if they need to go all the way back to the 60s(and HAIRNETS!) but they DO need to do something! Till they do, they’ve lost MY business(at least, at this location!)

DONOT go to this DD location. It’s terrible. I came here a few times about a year ago when I worked regularly across the street. A year later, it has NOT improved one bit. You are much better off going to 2 blocks east or 1 block west to the other DD’s in the area. First, my order is never right. They always forget the sugar or add cream when I don’t want it. Don’t offer to add the extras if you’re not going to do it right. Ordering food is okay, it’s really hit or miss(often miss — «toasted» is slightly warm and not browned at all). Second, the crowds. This is the location attached to the Marquette building, so I totally get why it’s so busy. One would assume with such a regular velocity of customers on a daily basis, this location would be used to it. They SO are not. The line often goes out into the corridor and you wait for close to 10 minutes before reaching the counter. Again, save the time, don’t be late for work, and go to the other locations steps away. Finally, the staff. Painfully slow for what is an extremely busy location. Not only that, but they all seem to still be in training; or constantly in training I should say. I’ve never run a restaurant, but I’m pretty sure you don’t put the people you hired yesterday up front during the morning rush who aren’t sure how to run a debit card. No joke, not exaggerating. I will hand it to the woman who was making the food; she took orders from people still in line and got to work… yet again, the orders weren’t always right. Also, 9AM and they were already out of straws, napkins, and a good deal of the sweeteners/creams/sugars. The service station where they are location was a pit, too. Still not sure if they’re short-staffed, totally inexperienced, or just poorly managed.

This double D is a mixed bag. The employees aren’t particularly friendly, but they aren’t rude. The breakfast sandwiches have ranged from good to under or overcooked. I just stopped buying them. I get there pretty early in the morning yet the doughnuts(old-fashioned) are rarely oven-fresh. This location is a C student. Nothing to brag to relatives about, but at least it won’t have to go to summer school.
