Despite excellent customer service, they could have done a better job today making the wake up wraps. Mine was as dry as the Sahara, the bacon was burned black and wheres the cheese? The dog loved the black bacon. And worst of all, the smoothie/coolatta machine is still broken. Come on DD, you can do better than this.

Not understanding that it’s a quarter to 2 pm and the customer service was weak. I waited to be greeted and then when all I wanted was a simple donut I couldn’t get it because I only had a $ 20 bill. The guy then told me I don’t have change I just started wtf. I know that anytime u start a shift as a cashier you get some type of different domination of cash. All I wanted was a donut smh. I’ve never had this issue at any other establishment

World’s unhappiest man is working in this place! The guy working at night shift. I am not exaggerating, i had been there at least 50 times. It is on my route. Never ever ever he will say hi, how are you? how is your day? or so. Ever. He won’t even bother taking off his headphones. Goodbye? Have a good day? NOWAY. Coffee is just fine. That is what one star is for.

The people working there are totally incompetent! The cashier had to get my black coffee after I waited over 5 minutes and missed my train. No one was getting their order. I will never be going back there.

Unfortunately this DD is around the corner from my job. Every time my friends and I come here something is wrong or it takes 15 min to get 3 iced lattes. For a busy intersection in a gas station you would think they would have more than one person working. Not going to this DD anymore !!

This is a very big DD location. As in HUGE. But that’s never a bad thing I suppose. One wonders if there is that much need in the area, but perhaps there is. The day I was there there was one person in front of me, you would think it would be quick I assume? Especially if there are 2 others behind the counter, which there were. The one helping the customer in front of me was taking a long complicated order. OK, that’s fine, its 10 am and shes buying for the office, I get it. But I would think one of the other two would at least ask me what I’m there for? Nope. Just stood there having a chat, about the construction on the street outside, yep, that’s how close I was, heard the whole thing… So I stand there awkwardly while all of this is happening, even the other customer is thinking, hmmm, this is a little odd. I could see her thinking it, light bulb and all. But nothing changes. OK, that’s fine. Then, surprise surprise, she comes to the end of her long order, seemed like 20 coffees, turned out to be 11 coffees and 2 dozen donuts, office birthday. But he gives her a total, she turns to me and says, loudly, are you here for a coffee or something more complicated? I say(a little more quietly), just a med coffee, milk(whole) and sugar. She says — ok, you go first. Turns back to the counter guy, hands over a cc, says, «add a med coffee, milk, no cream, and sugar to it and make it the first you make». THEN — looks squarely at the two chatting guys, and says, «you heard me with a long order. You looked at her standing here. I’m a regular, she may be too, but perhaps one of you could have at least asked what she wanted? Or did you already know it would be a long order too?» Jaws dropped, including mine. My coffee was indeed made first, she was not actually charged for it(neither was I), I was happy to get my coffee and go. At her words, the two sprung to order and helped make her whole order, so the poor lone guy who was actually working did not have to do it all himself. Hilarious yes, but should never have happened to begin with. This location does not seem to have parking(I was walking myself so may have missed it), is large enough to have a large group meet for coffee, had OK restrooms, and had wiped down tables. Across from CVS, near the Chicago Outsider Art Museum. 2 stars, because there was nothing really«wrong», but there was some lack in judgment on the employees part. Customer first, even if the construction is causing you trouble on the way in to work.

I live about half a block from this place and it would be easy to go, but I hate the owners so much, I actually go to Sip, Gaudi, Upper Crust or anywhere besides here. Two stories… 1) Once they overcharged me on my credit card and she(lady who runs the DD counter) said«you are here a lot, I’ll get your next coffee». Fine by me. But the next time I came in she just rang me up as usual. I asked her about it and her memory had faded. She couldn’t remember overcharging me. Weird. 2) I came in and stood by the DD counter and no one was behind it. It was late and it wasn’t a big deal, but I turned to the guy behind the gas counter and said«is the Dunkin side open?». He responded on a thick Apu accent, «yes, yes, you have no patience. You are crazy!». Uhhhhh… What? I didn’t respond I just turned back to the menu board. He walked over and when he got to the DD register he says«See you are crazy! You don’t even know what you want!» At that point, I went off explaining how I was simply asking if it was open, not asking him to hurry. A few expletives later and I left and have never returned. Anywho, I hate this place and I hope this story makes you not want to go as well! Across the street is a Shell with no frills, but the people are very nice. I recommend that place if y’all are in the hood!

It’s a dunkin donuts. Although the Indian Lady that works there can be a bit rough. PS, I’m Indian and she’s just not that nice.

Love this Dunkin’ Donuts! This Dunkin’ gets quite a bit of traffic being in Citgo, but the line always moves lightening fast. The ladies who work here are always very pleasant and serve the coffee with a smile. When I can help it, I plan my route in the morning to hit this location on my way to work! Definitely the best DD around.

This has become my go-to Dunkin’ Donuts. Even before I started working in the area, my friends would stop here(as it’s close to their place) and we’d get the best iced coffee. It’s almost always crowded(and not from people pumping gas), but the line moves relatively quick and they actually listen to what you say. I have yet to get a bad cup of coffee here. The other day I grabbed coffee in the afternoon and the woman behind the register told one of the guys to wait because she was putting on a new pot. I know I hate when I get old coffee and the guy seemed to appreciate the heads up. I have 3 locations I frequent and this is definitely my favorite.

CORPORATEHASTAKENOVERANDTHISPLACEHASMAJORLYIMPROVED!!! The Prices have dropped by like 20%. I stopped going b/c I was being charged different prices for the same coffee(2009⁄2010). It came to the point where I was keeping my receipts to argue over the cost. And the Bindi woman that used to run that place is a major B. Now she makes my coffee, they have moved her to the coffee area, so you know what she did? Gave me flavored coffee instead of my order! Thats ok now I just check first. The place has been overhauled and is clean. Very happy to write this review!!! The parking still sucks.

I’m glad I’m not the only Unilocaler that LOATHES this DD. This place sucks. Yes, it’s in a gas station… But it’s still a dunkin donuts. Subways in gas stations aren’t any worse than the stand alone subways. The people here are imcompetent. The iced coffee is watered down and weak, they put sugar in coffee even when you tell them not to… I ask for turkey bacon flatbreads, they give me turkey sausage flatbreads… I ask for a ham wakeup wrap they give me a veggie flatbread — It might be convenient, but don’t let it fool you. It’s a headache. I actually wrote to the corporate office about this location.

Yes, I realize… Dunkin’ Donuts. Beyond that Dunkin’ Donuts in gas station. However, sometimes its early and you need to get gasoline for your vehicle, and in the same vein… you need some damn coffee. So here we are! A poor man’s Starbucks Pumpkin latte: Go to Dunkin Donuts, order the pumpkin coffee(brewed coffee, not a latte) with cream and your choice of sugar or sugar substitute. Starbucks: Around $ 5. DD: Around $ 2. I kid you not, they taste exactly the same. In fact, I probably like the DD one better. So there you go. Learnings at a gas station, take it for what its worth. For me, its worth about $ 3. Thanks!

Don’t go here for donuts ever! It is a gas station… get gas and then drive to a real Dunkin Donuts that actully makes fresh donuts. I have always gotten stale donuts here. Also, when Dunkin Donuts runs a commercial for a special deal and in small print on the TV it says, «Some Locations May Not Participate in Promotion». This is the location that they are talking about. The workers here make you feel stupid for asking for the promotion. They pretend like the promotion doesn’t exist. After this happens, I will drive to the Dunkin Donuts located at Ashland and Milwaukee and get the deal. Take that Gas Station Donut Location!!! I’ve learned my lesson and will never visit here for stale donuts again!!!

I go to this Dunkin Donuts/Citgo at least twice day. If you are stalking me, this would be an excellent place to stake out. For years there was nothing, I mean nothing, open in this neighborhood(the industrial stretch of Grand Ave between Ashland and Damen,) after 10pm. There are some places on Chicago Ave, but this DD is closer. There is a Shell across the street(corner of Ashland and Grand) that is always dirty and used to sell Chester Chicken. I have never been so drunk, and yes I have been incredibly drunk and hungry, that some base survival instinct did not stop me from eating gas station chicken. This DD/Citgo is clean. The people that work here are friendly and they remember what drink I like. They have all the coffee and donut/breakfast sandwiches most DD’s carry. It’s nice to have a locally owned DD/gas/convenience store nearby. I like the mom and pop grocery stores in the neighborhood, but they close early. This place never closes and my schedule requires that.
