It was super packed when I went, and took a while to be served, tho to be fair it was happy hour on a Thursday, we got the loaded nachos which were good, and the beer specials were just ok, nothing great despite being happy hour, wouldnt mind going back when it’s less packed and trying the other food

If I could give zero stars, I would. Went here with 3 friends on a Saturday afternoon(early December). The place was empty(which should have been our cue to run). To make a long, gross, story short — all of our mixed drinks had fruit flies in them, and the salsa we ordered a long black hair in it. To make it worse, our waiter did not even apologize; rather made it look like both of these things were«no big deal» & made us feel like we were really inconveniencing him by bringing these things to his attention. Needless to say, most of our food went to waste because we were all so grossed out. We did not ask for a refund or anything like that — we just wanted a non-gross meal which apparently is impossible for this«restaurant». Also the bathroom was filthy and not stocked with essentials. With all the options available downtown, I would think they would work a tiny bit harder to provide good service. I would never go back, and would encourage others to avoid this place at all costs.

Amazing food. Wing — perfect Onion rings — perfect Bartender Steve and server Cecelia were perfect hosts. How this place isn’t packed out the doors on a Saturday night, I don’t know.

Honestly, if my coworkers ever suggest going here again for a Happy Hour, I definitely won’t be going. Our experience was not the best the last time we went over to Dylans for the first time. So we had reserved a space at Dylan’s on a Friday night. My coworker and I had showed up later than the rest. By the time we had gotten there, everyone was already ordered and some had drinks. The space we had reserved wasn’t truly reserved for us and Dylan’s told us we had to share the other tables with patrons that wanted to dine in. So sharing that space was awkward… but even more awkward was when we had ordered drinks and had to wait 30 minutes before they came. Oh, and then finding out that we couldn’t break up the tab, we had to pay on one ticket in full. I mean, I just feel like they weren’t trying to accommodate at all and didn’t explain any of their procedures to us at all. You see a large group, make sure to let us know that it’s 1 Bill. We’ve been to other bars that allow us to start 3 or 4 separate tabs for 1 large group.

Came in this place in the afternoon to just grab something to drink while I waited for my train. The staff was pretty unhelpful and really morose looking– moping around and gazing out of windows, perhaps pining for the time they’ll be allowed to leave, kind of like watching a Russian stage play. Anyhow, I ordered a beer. Mind you, I was one of like twenty people in the whole place. I watched the staff milling around at half speed doing lots of things like turn from staring out the window to staring into the dewy eyes of another Chekovian protagonist, poorly wipe down part of a table, disappear languidly into the back to never return again, and so on. No one seemed to be making any effort whatsoever to pour me a beer so I left. Where’s that Neo-Futurist theatre around here?

Great crowd. Only two bachata songs for every 15 salsa tracks? Please. We need a new DJ who’s not from the 1950’s. I lose my patience with this place. Not latin whatsoever. Just salsa. Wasted time

I’ve been here a couple times with colleagues because it is convenient to our office and the train stations. The food is acceptable diner/bar food but you will certainly have had better preparations elsewhere of whatever you order. For some mysterious reason they have no beer list. They do have a few decent beers available but if you want an interesting beer list then this isn’t the place for you. Bottom line — it’s acceptable for convenience purposes but I would choose other places first.

Would do a 3.5 if available. This place was pretty dirty inside. Food was solid but not excellent. Beer selection was good but expensive. Service was ok. May give this a second chance as it is so close to the train station.

My friend took me here for Friday night Salsa dancing. I’ve never been salsa dancing, so I had no idea what to expect but I was excited. When we got there, we entered a stuffy, dark Irish pub. It was cramped, so it made it hard, not only to dance, but even to move around. The crowed was even interesting – a mix of people in their mid 20’s and people in their late 40’s and 50’s. I must say, as a girl in her early 20’s, I felt a little grossed out by the sweaty older men during salsa partner dancing. By the end of the night, I had a good time, but just wasn’t much of my scene. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have come here if it didn’t have Salsa night. It’s just your basic shabby city bar with expensive drinks and lousy bar food – so not really anything special. The only upside to going was that it’s close to either train station, which made it not a far walk!

I came here on a Friday for Salsa Night to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We had a great time. I think this would make a great date night. The service was excellent. The lessons were easy to follow. There is plenty of room to sit down if you need a break from dancing. And most importantly there is room to dance. We had so much fun dancing here.

No. Go somewhere else. I’ve been there for lunch before and it was nothing but«meh». My most recent visit was an inexcusable farce for a very specific reason. They are not wheelchair accessible. At first they asked us to wait for a key to an elevator in the building. This was a waste of time since that elevator doesn’t lead back to the restaurant. Then we sat outside for a bit at a tiny table that didn’t fit 3 people comfortably let alone our party of 5. While this happened a server said she’d get our friend in through the kitchen to a table inside. Fine — let’s try that. Then she returns to say they just seated a party at the last non-booth, non-high table. Dumb. How is it 30 years after ADA passed do they get away with this non-compliance. This place is a waste of time.

Friday night — Salsa night. Laid back atmosphere. Almost everyone knew how to dance salsa and Latino music. Welcoming atmosphere. The owner is amazing, he is friendly and approachable. Safe area, plenty of parking around. If anyone is looking to dance salsa, this is the place to go! ;)

Nobody in the place and food still took forever. Mind you. Terrible fish and chips. How can you mess up a dish from freezer to frier? Not sure if it’s the management but every single employee here looks unhappy and they clearly don’t care about customers. The ordering process for drinks took forever and they arrive 20 minutes after ordering. The DONT serve tap water? Sorry Dylan’s… Good luck. If you make the mistake and go there then get beer because drinks are just terrible and the wine is also crappy.

Wife and I were invited to this place by a friend who wanted to give this place a try as he heard it had Latin dancing. Since my wife and I love to dance, we agreed to go. Upon arriving to Dylan’s, the place seemed old and uninviting. We decided to try their cocktails and asked for a drink menu. We were told, «we don’t have a cocktail menu». How can a place like that not have a drink menu. We both decided to try the Mojitos and were very unhappy with the drink. It was very sweet and did not taste like it had any alcohol. The bartender was also rude and lacked customer service. The only thing we slightly enjoyed that night was some of the Latin music. We asked for a glass of water and were told they don’t provide(free) tap water. We would have to buy bottled water if we wanted water. Overall, would not return to this place and would discourage others from going. You can find much better places around the area

Came here on Friday night with some friends for our double date night. We ordered food and we all were quite pleased with our dishes, so much so we were sharing. The drinks were good, strong. I wasn’t impressed with the place… the dance floor seemed really small but the dj was awesome. There was a nice crowd on the dance floor, and we enjoyed ourselves. W I was really surprised at the tab at the end of about our 2 hr stay there. Our tab was outrageous for a couple of beers, a couple of mixed drinks and 6 shots. While we had a great time, we will NOT be coming here with those insanely, outrageous drink prices.

The ambience is nice — friendly crowd with great service. We had a party of 10 and a reservation for a Saturday night. The music(DJ) til midnight was excellent. Half of our group did the free lesson. The Cobb salad was excellent(3 meals from the size). Buffalo wings weren’t as good. Those who got the quesadilla with chicken raved about it. Drinks also tasty!

Why is this place rated so low? It’s your standard, end-of-the-work-day or need-a-drink-before-my-train kinda place. The staff has always been friendly & attentive, and made for good conversation. It’s our go-to when our train gets in early, OR we miss our train and need a beverage or two to pass the time. Food is standard, nothing bad, and wait times have always been congruent with crowd size. We’ll go back again & again.

Cool: Great place to salsa on a Saturday night. There was a free class and a live band that started at around midnight. The DJ played great music too and kept the party going. There is no cover before 9:30pm. Not Cool: The drinks were priced double from what is shown on the menu and they do not offer tap water, so $ 4.50 for a small bottle is way too much.

Really good place to dance and have a great time! Have gone there a few times on a Saturday night and the crowd is fun. They play awesome selection of salsa, bachata, merengue and cha-cha-cha. Open till 3am so you cant go wrong! Just make sure you wear your dancing shoes! As far as their food… not very impressed. I go there with a full stomach!
