I was in search of a new, centrally-located, primary care that was open at convenient hours(for me, that is evenings/weekends). Dr. Chacko fit the bill: She works out of the small advocate offices on Kedzie, steps from the Logan Square Blue Line.(they are WAY cleaner in the inside, promise). As a person and a doctor, Dr. Chacko seems good. She is very nice, takes the time to listen to your issues, and lets you get out all you need to say. She also calls back quickly each and every time you leave a message with a question or concern. As stated above, her hours are convenient and she never seems that busy. There is a lab in the same building, which is helpful. She has been a doctor for 30+ years so Id say you were in good hands. I always feel so. Minor issues: Her hospital affiliation is Illinois Masonic, which is the Antichrist of the medical world, in my humble opinion. Also, she is very quick to send you to a specialist, which is good to be on the safe side, but kind of a hassle when you are short on time and/or cash. She is a «one stop shop» for women and will always squeeze you in when you get a virus.
