Love this place! My boyfriend and I have been twice now and each time we wonder why it’s not busier. Their Italian ice is my new favorite guilt-free summer treat. Each flavor we’ve tried has been delicious and refreshing, with chunks of real fruit inside. I highly recommend the watermelon, but if you’re torn, they let you get multiple flavors. Go now!

My friend and I went into Extra Innings for the first time tonight and found it to be a very nice addition to the Wriggleyville community. The owner was extremely kind to us and offered a generous sample of whatever flavor we desired. I was pleased to hear that she is looking into creating a cherry flavored variety as that is my favorite flavor. We will definitely be back soon.

This is AMAZING Italian ice. It’s made from fresh fruit daily, from what I understand and is a delicious treat. I came here after spending a long day outsice in the heat and it was such a suprisling good refreshment. The texture is perfect, flavor is amazing and the size is just right(at least the large is). You’ll be disappointed if you get anything less than a large :) Cute atmosphere and great for kids. Be sure to check this place out on a nice summer day!

Visited extra innings today for the first time and was blown away by how delicious and refreshing their Italian ice is. I tried the mango and coconut flavors and both were phenomenal. I’m always skeptical of «homemade» monikers but both of these flavors were clearly really high quality products with small pieces of mango and coconut as evidence. Especially on a hot day like today, I could have eaten a gallon of this stuff and felt more refreshed than full. Will definitely be back for more soon.

Extra Innings Wrigleyville sells homemade Italian ice. At the time of writing, the ice comes in five flavors: lemon, strawberry, mango, watermelon, and coconut. The portion sizes available are small($ 2.5), regular($ 3.5, which is an 8 oz. Styrofoam cup), large($ 5), and extra large($ 9). I tried the mango Italian ice, but found it to be not as mango-flavored as I’d hoped, so I went with the lemon flavor instead. This shaved ice had a strong lemon taste, and based on the tartness I’m guessing they didn’t add much sugar. There were also little bits of lemon rind in the ice. Overall I thought the Italian ice tasted good, and the regular size was plenty for 2 people to share, so I was satisfied with the quantity of ice I got for the price I paid. Though I paid in cash, they accept credit cards. This shop was small(10 seats at 3 – 4 tables), but simple and clean. The main downside was that the air compressor was quite loud, so it’s wasn’t the most aurally comfortable environment to hang out.
