I love coming to Gaylinrose Hair Salon for my haircuts. Maurice is an excellent barber. Appointments are always on time and he does a great job. Everyone there is very professional.

Great people, but I have never been able to have my hair done at the time of my appointment. I have waited up to 4 hours to get in the chair.
My hair is never what I ask for, but it never turns out looking badly.

This place is good! Rekiyah does great quality work. I have thick… thick…thick hair and her relaxers always leave my hair shiny and straight for 7 or 8 weeks. Trust me that’s awesome:) I wish my schedule worked out to always have her Service me. Now that I have moved away I miss her even more! I wished the shop was a little more accessible (bottom of the macys building) but she is surely worth it. Prices are good too and they are all friendly. I will be traveling back for a sew in from her one day!

Really bummed to have paid $ 150 for hardly there highlights and a cut I could’ve gotten at Supercuts. Gaylin was very very nice, but this place is waaaay overpriced for what you receive.

I LOVE Gaylinrose Salon. When the salon that I loved moved too far away, I searched and searched for a new place that was convenient. Gaylinrose is close to my office, and I never wait for my stylist – so not only is it convenient, they also value my time. The whole team there is AMAZING. Gaylin makes all of the salon’s clients feel at home, Nicole is an EXCELLENT greeter/​receptionist, and my barber Maurice is simply THE BEST. His attention to detail is to be commended. I am always satisfied when I leave his chair. Rakiah is my colorist, and works with Maurice to create edgy, just office appropriate styles for me. She takes care with my hair – never overprocesses, and gives the best scalp massages EVER. So happy that I found this place!

I’ve been cutting my hair with Maurice for a few years now. Maurice is an excellent barber. I used to pay $ 10 when i was a student on the student discount days, but now i can only make it there during the weekends. Regardless, his cuts are clean, precise with good conversations in a relaxed atmosphere. Gayline is a very nice lady as well and they’re helpful when making appointments. I do like the fact that they email you your receipts as well for your own personal records.

I’ve been a client here for 4 years and I love it. Never had any problems, the service is good, you will need to schedule in advance and the prices are reasonable. Everyone is professional and prompt, thats something I look for in salons.

I have patronized this location for years and tried to remain loyal to my barber that left when management and its rules changed. But my barber got out of my range so I cam back to my «home’ salon.
The barbers here treat me well and management is flexible with my schedule to set appointments when I need them. The cost is fair for the service given but it is not expensive.
I have not had my hair cut with sheers since I was in grade school but one of the two barbers here took me back to those times and since then I have not had as good a cut.

Good experience here. Very professional, was able to make an appointment the week of and was really satisfied with the service. Went for a relaxer and they did a great job plus, Gaylin is a very personable and sweet women.

MY visit here has been my BEST expepience at a salon. I am used to stylists overbooking (You know… when they book 3 – 4 people for the same 10am slot). I was able to get in and out the salon quick. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. I made a last min appointment with Stephanie. She is WONDERFUL! I wanted a change in my hair color but I had no idea what direction I wanted to go. She was very easy to talk to. From our conversation she pick a beautiful color and I am constantly getting compliments on it and the twists to did. I will most def me a repeat customer!

I love the GalyinRose salon, they have a very professional staff and always work with my work schedule to get me in to see my favorite barber. I also like the environment, not too loud or overwhelming. My only complaint is that sometimes I have to schedule appointments a little far out to ensure an appointment.
