I had a boda(wedding for my Inglés ppls) to attend and I was looking to get a sharp blazer or sports coat. I was not disappointed, this place got it covered. I’m no Adonis so imma do what I gotta to standout and this place did me right. I scooped me up a nice sports coat and I destroyed the scene with my getup. Straight serious with my East Coast steez. Priced to ensure you need to love it, but you will find some deals.

I really like that this store is in Chicago. Apparently this is the biggest Gant store in the county. They have great sales and the clothing is well stocked in every size. The staff can sometimes not be as engaging and it is a shame being as their store is so beautiful. I wouldn’t say they are unfriendly but just need to take time with individual customers in order to create sales. I’ve worked in retail many years and know how it is working in a low traffic stores. Every sale counts and it just seems like there is no sense of urgency. I have had really good experiences here and only a few brief mediocre ones. I’m sure there may be certain instances where days can be exceptionally slow but if you want a successful business then please try to be a bit more attentive. In no way am I trying to give a bad review as this store is amazing and I respect it more so than lots of other stores in the area. If anything just show extreme interest while shopping in order to spark great customer service.

More than fills the void created by the loss of RL Rugby last February. The clothes, and particularly the fits are flawless. While modern(in fit), everything is classic and elegant. Pricing is normal, and the staff know what they’re talking about. I’ve taken two or three friends here and everyone wants to just clean the place out. The Yale shirts are a highlight especially being tall. If you need a trusty eye, ask for Alexa(she’s the best)! Cheers!

First visit in and I got«Pretty Woman-ed.» Was wearing workout clothes since I’d just been to gym, 3 workers said hello to every Bucktown zombie/yuppie who walked in while I had been there for 5 minutes without so much as an acknowledgment. I finally said hi to one of the employees myself after he looked right at me and said nothing to me, walked out and didn’t even get a thanks for coming/have a nice day. Thank you Gant for the reminder that I don’t need any more overpriced(and yes, I can afford it, tyvm) clothing and for the attitude… it made me remember that Wicker Park/Bucktown is nothing more than a mall these days as Lincoln Park spreads west and that I should just continue to stay away. And I won’t be back to Gant anytime soon.
