For what the area has to offer for breakfast, this place will do the trick. Nothing was bad, per se, but everything was your standard breakfast staples. Prices are cheap-moderate, being $ 6-$ 8 on average per plate. I ordered the YOYIS special(i have no idea why they call it that. there’s a YAYO oand a YOYIS… idk) which was 2 pieces of bacon, 3 eggs, and pancakes. i added hashbrowns for another $ 3 The pancakes had this weird sour after taste. They were large and fluffy, but it was like a baking soda flavor i couldn’t get out of my mouth. I took two bites. They perfectly cooked my overmedium eggs. Hashbrowns had a light crisp, which I like. The bacon was stick-straight and paper thin, which made me wonder… but tasted fine. service was acceptable. atmosphere was clean, but very outdated. green, plastic-like booths. it was dark inside with dark wood paneling, i believe… not very cozy or welcoming. if i had to have a breakfast spot, this place would do. but really, i don’t think I’d come again, and wouldn’t think to go out of my way to come here

crappy, crappy service. good pancakes. terrible orange juice… the chorizo skillet was full of potatoes with not nearly enough of anything else.

Worst place to work at. 2009 – 2010. Kitchen staff would drop food and put that right on the plate. Found a hair in my soup, but I brushed it off because I was an employee. Disgusted, definitely. I also saw things in the back I wish I could take back. Don’t ever go here!

Went for easter and it looked decent but smelled like unclean wet rag. I went with my family for breakfast(so there is no excuse to have a dirty rag, as its still the beginning of the day). I actually got sick a few hours later. I had the omelet. I would not go back again!

Standard diner stuff. A lot of Hispanic dishes(it’s in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood). Fast service and the best, crappy diner coffee I’ve ever had. They have some really nice specials that come with a lot of food. The owners and staff are really friendly as well.

This place must have changed, considering all the reviews I’ve seen. Let me sum up my experience with one word, or sound rather, «Ewwww!» We arrived on a Saturday moring around 11am, we were told to sit wherever we liked, so we did. We sat at a booth, which was by the window, it also had three used butter packets in the butter dish, with only two new butter packets, weird… but I let it go. Then, the waitress gets our order,(all american skillet and peach pancakes with a Coke) the food arrives and the waitress is very nice and says, «Enjoy your food!» Awww very nice of her, and maybe we would have enjoyed it if she would have given us SILVERWARE, or if the food was fresh, or maybe a little if she didn’t forget my friend’s Coke! So, when I finally got a fork, I took a bite of the WORST skillet I have ever had! The bacon tasted funny(like keep eating this you’ll end up with the runs funny). The potatoes were greasy and hard(not hard uncooked hard, but old, they’ve been sitting for hours hard). The eggs smelled and were blotchy, serious blotchy eggs? Anyway, do I really have to go any further? Never… ever…again!

Nothing all that special. Bacon & eggs kinda place. Had the corned beef hash straight outta the can. Weak coffee to round out a wholly unmemorable breakfast

Great place for breakfast or lunch. It gets pretty crowded on sunday mornings… but the restaurant is big enough to hold a good amount of people! Cheap prices and hearty plates make for a tasty breakfast diner!

This diner has been here aprox. 20 yrs. The menu is huge and the prices very reasonable. I highly recommend the potato pancakes.
