Grand Place

I remember when I first saw this place I walked in and I walked out. It wasn’t until the liquor store that I would normally go to was closed that I took a deep breath and decided to try this place out.
I’m not use to going to the liquor store and all the liquor is behind the counter so it was a new experience for me to ask the cashier the prices, the ingredients of a new product, etc. I basically couldn’t do comparison shopping without the cashiers help and the other customers were not that pleased with me but hey I had to see what was the better buy and what I wanted to drink at the time.
This isn’t just a liquor store either it has a mini mart in it as well… I haven’t gone through the store but I have picked up some chips, juice and soda. I have also gotten food off the clearance table but you have to make sure you check the dates because I saw some things that had a sale by date in ⁶⁄₂₀₁₂ and even on clearance that was to old to buy so BEWARE!
The cashiers have always been patient with me and I think by now they are even use to me on the days that I may not know what I want to buy.
I still don’t like the fact that there are so many people who hang out around the stores on this strip but I have learned to just get what I want and go.
I like the fact that they are open late and if we decide to have an impromptu party the likelihood of them being open is great.
So, now I walk in and walk out but usually with a purchase… I will be back!
P. S. They take Debit but not Credit!!!
