I went through a couple specialists before settling on Dr. Hanauer. I have been seeing Dr. Hanauer for over 11 years. He has literally saved my life several times. I was at another hospital before I was transferred by ambulance to University of Chicago. My mom had me transferred here because that other hospital had told her there was nothing more they could do for me. Basically, they gave me a death sentence. That was over 11 years ago and I am still going strong. Dr. Hanauer ordered an emergency surgery. He has taken great care of me at office visits, in the Emergency Room, in the Intensive Care Unit and in the regular hospital. He has been a fantastic doctor all around. He has a great bedside manner. He listens to me and never rushes me. He is always very quick to respond when I need something.
I love Dr. Hanauer! He’s simply the bestest!
