If you are looking for lunch, do yourself a favor and walk yourself to the pasta bowl truck instead. Sandwiches do not taste fresh, are incredibly overpriced and have no variety. However, their menu is slightly rectified by their breakfast items which are pretty good.

Bad: New prices are too high, new food is like 90% bread, they took away the Buffalo chicken wrap, the ready made salads have the worst vegetables. Good: the coffee is ok, but expensive If this was not connected to. the school I would never choose to eat here.

There is now a «new» Harry’s in the School of Law at Northwestern. It appears that all of the sandwiches are pre-made and have decreased considerably in size. I got what amounted to one-quarter of a sandwich for a whopping $ 6.00. I also bought a teeny cup of cream of spinach soup for $ 3.00. I don’t think there was any cream in that soup, just water, flour, and tiny little flakes of spinach.

I would rather eat at McDonald’s on McClurg than eat here. No joke. They cut up an avocado, douse it in mayonnaise, wrap it in a pita and sell it to you for $ 6. Also, whenever they microwave sandwiches for you, the chicken is still cold on the inside. Every. Time.

Great tasting sandwiches. Just watch out for one server who is really disgusting! I try not to get the sandwich from him. Cause when he makes the sandwich or heats up the pre-made sandwiches I buy from the bin, he either uses his bare hands without washing. One time I asked the lady to heat up my sandwich and while that guy was lifting box with his gloves on. When the sandwich was done, he actually took the sandwich out instead of the lady that I asked, and with his dirty gloves on, gave it me.

Harry’s is my go-to place when I forget to bring my lunch and have meetings on the Chicago campus. It’s much less expensive than the places in the hospital, they have several vegetarian-friendly options, and the employees here are awesome. Also, the nerd in me enjoys the law-related names for their sandwiches.

Another Northwestern University dining acquisition! The Rubloff Building, Levy Mayer Hall, and McCormick Hall of NU’s law school are all connected, so Harry’s is accessible from all of them(right in the middle, hidden in a hallway… seriously, multiple times I’ve been unable to find it until I’m 10ft away). They serve Starbucks coffee, made-to-order sandwiches, pre-made sandwiches and salads, cereal, soda, baked goods, fruit, etc. All you need for a pretty standard lunch. The buffalo chicken wraps of Northwestern fame are actually pretty bad here– smaller, tortilla is often burnt, and they skimp on the blue cheese and add celery bits. Booo. But, Harry’s has been there for me every time I’m stuck in the building for 8+ hours, and need calories that I can’t find in the office fridge/don’t want to fill with coffee creamer. Also, all pastries are only $ 1 from 5pm-6pm. Nice, but they go fast!
