Hill’s Garage Mart

Hill’s Garage Mart has built 3 garages for me over the past 20 years.
They are simply the best.
They finished another for me in 2012 that was a tough Chicago installation with several upgrades.
They were on-​time, on budget, nice job

Bull Crap!
Did i mention the siding is coming off the garage.
Well it is!

What a waste of my time! I called HIll’s and scheduled an appointment to have them come out and service a broken garage door at a rental property that my spouse and I own. When I scheduled the service call I told them that this wasn’t my home and gave them my cell number so they could call me if there was a problem (need to reschedule, running late etc.). On the scheduled date and time, I waited over 30 minutes at the rental place before I called to find out what was going on. I had to call Hill’s three times before anyone picked up the phone. When I did get through the person on the phone was was in a hurry and rude. He told me that the technician was on the other end of the city picking up a part for another customer. I responded that I had scheduled an appointment the week before and that the technician was already 30+ minutes late. I also mentioned that I gave my cell number when I scheduled the appointment in the event that something like this would happen. The vendor responded by telling me «what do you want me to do?». Uh… how about not wasting my time and keeping the appointment. Or how about calling your customer and telling them you need to reschedule.
Hill’s was totally unprofessional and probably did me a HUGE favor by not showing up.
