Hollander International Storage And Moving

After 13 years in the same condo, I moved to a new location about five blocks away.
I had collected so many things, I did not know where to begin. Moving is exhausting.
I am fortunate, however, to have hired Hollander Moving. The schedule was for the movers to come between 8:30 and 9 in the morning on January 27. They were right there at 8:30. Most of my stuff was already in boxes but it was the big furniture including two armoires that were heavy that had to be wrapped up and moved.
These guys knew their stuff. I was out of the old apartment and had everything moved into the new location in about 3 hours. It was fast and efficient. And the final charge was actually under the estimate.
I want to personally thank Marcus, Troy, and John for a job well done. I recommend Hollander… I would definitely use them again.

I had a great experience working with Hollander arranging a complicated three-​part move from Chicago to Denver with an eight month stopover in Montana. Carlene was responsive and helpful at every step of the way, even as our plans changed due to logistics. Once we found a home in Denver, Carlene went the extra mile to help us get our things from storage in Chicago to our new home a few days before Christmas so that our two young girls could enjoy the holiday. I also had great experiences with the United representatives who helped us and did the heavy lifting. Moving can be stressful, but Hollander made it easy for us. Awful. Estimate was off by over 500 pounds. Staff is rude and unresponsive. They are manipulative and try to overcharge you. They increase costs throughout the move and are unwilling to listen and work to resolve customer concerns. Save your time and money.

A great moving company and here is why: (1) We had a very complicated move (multiple locations, etc). John, who coordinated the move, was smart enough to figure it all out and great at communicating everything via email and phone calls (2) The guys who moved us were on time, polite, quick and careful with our belongings (3) Price was competitive (I called three other companies for comparison) (4) Everyone I dealt with at the company was just NICE. How refreshing.
