So I went to Hollywood kids for months or so and some of the staff well rarely some of the staff are very unpatient and very aggravate so I came back from Hollywood kids and am my hair started the fallout and my mom stopped going back into there
they gave me split ends give them less than one star

If I could give less than one star I would. This is our 2^nd time here. The first time it took them 6 hours to finish my child’s hair. They offered an explanation and claimed this was not the usual. Here again and guess what? Another 6 hours. It seems as if they overbook. There was no apology. We won’t be back and I definitely would discourage anyone from subjecting themselves or their children to such a long stint in a salon. Chicago offers far too many options for any business not to be considerate of their clients time.

My daughter and friend had an appointment to receive a mani pedi and both receive braids with natural hair. The appointment was 1pm. It is now 8 hours later and the braider is still not done. The service is less than desirable and no apologies were offered. I try to support small black businesses but they definitely need to step their service up. I’ll never return. Too much time wasted not to mention we canceled my daughters birthday party since her hair was not complete. –1 Star rating

If you a mother like me with a daughter and like to keep her hair well groomed… do not take her to this salon. They are over-priced, limited with hairstyles (if it’s not in that old and unorganized book they can NOT do it), over-book clients, and lack respect for family who support HER business… POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I try to support black-owned businesses but unfortunately there are some owners and their employees make is impossible to do!!!
I would NOT recommend this business!!!

Well my experience was quite diffrent. My daughter and cousin attend the salon and the owner Danielle is very professional. The salon is soooo cute its kid friendly and they provide excellent service.

I took my kids here to get their hair done. This was a great place. My kids had so much fun. My daughter’s braids came out so nice. The braids lasted for a long time. My son’s hair got a nice clean fade. I would definitely take my kids here again. They also do birthday parties, and my kids told me they would love to do their party here. The salon’s prices are really reasonable too. A++
