Yikes! I rarely write one star reviews because there’s usually some kind of redeeming factor to at least warrant a 2. This place is ridiculous. I think the Hudson News at ORD is cheaper. A bottle of water was 5, chips were 5.99 and my cheese stick– well I didn’t even get to find out the price because I put everything back. There’s tons of places in Ogilvie where you can find a cheaper snack. I ended up going to Auntie Anne’s and paying(somewhat) normal prices for a bottle of water. I understand that convenience will drive a price up, but there’s convenience cost and there’s price gouging. Hudson News is all about the Benjamin’s– because it will require at least one Benjamin to walk out of here with a snack.

The customer service is awful. Employees will overcharge you, I saw one pocket 5 $ I gave him and claim the receipt machine was broken when I asked for a receipt… As if. So rude and I watched him put a 5 $ bill in his pocket for a water bottle. I will be contacting corporate. That is not good business and I’m surprised that name tag less man still has a job!

30% off for those who work in the building! Other than that, expect the usual Hudson News; there’s apparently not one… not two… but THREE Hudson News here at the Ogilvie Transportation Center, so you can’t miss it! What you won’t miss as well are overpriced water, snacks, magazines, books… oh wait, everything. But, its convenient as there are three of them and if you’re in a rush to catch your Metra train, you can go in here and grab whatever you need before heading home. Bah, so overpriced.

The customer service at this hudson news is rude and condescending. Don’t bother trying to return anything. They don’t have time for your concerns.

Yes, you can get airport prices in the heart of downtown! The woman had the decency to be embarrassed that a 16 oz soda cost $ 3.25. I assume their printed goods are normal price, but avoid everything else.
