Okay, first of all can I just say great customer service!
I went with 10 other girlfriends of mine and the host made sure in advance that we knew what we needed to bring i. e ids, tickets etc. James was very patient in answering all our questions.
The show was great and we all loved the venue. surprisingly drinks were amazing. Not u your usual watered down, they were legit.
Loved the show and every thing about it and danced a lot.
All and all we were very happy satisfied 11 girls.

I took my best friend here for her bachelorette party. It was a group of 15. Reserved a table and a dance for the bachelorette girl. All I need to say hands down James did a wonderful job. He made sure we all were ok throughout the whole show. Thanks James, you’re the man!

Came here with a few girls thinking it was going to be a strip club considering they use the word strip club in their description. Well it was NOT. The guys walk around dancing on you asking if you want a personal lap dance in the back which you need to pay $ 20 for and even then they are still in their pants. They just sag them enough to where you can see their underwear and when they are walking around dancing on girls they just smack you with their dick (still hiding in their underwear) on your chest or lick you face (yuck). It was a fun night but they should lead people on with the word «strip club» it was more of a magic mike show.

I had wonderful customer service from James! He was helpful in guiding me in scheduling a VIP table for my friends bachelorette party. The environment is perfect for celebrating. Plenty of room to sit and great view from all directions.
The dancers were high energy and very good at their routine. The website was very easy to use in buying tickets and they were worth the price. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!
The Chicago location was really easy to get to and doors open at 7 pm. Bring extra dollars for the men, they are very entertaining and real gentlemen. The drinks are great and the talent is so adorable.

Planned my friend’s Bachelorette party here and had a better time than expected! The host, James, was awesome, but would have loved to see more of his sexy moves on stage! Overall, a good time!

I kept going back and forth trying to decide if I wanted to write a review for this place or not. On one hand I really don’t want people to know I went to Hunk O Mania (for a girlfriends going away party) but on the other hand I would like to warn anyone who is considering going. So here it is ladies. Don’t waste your money!
Maybe Magic Mike ruined it for all of us because we now have high expectations but I found everything about this place to be disappointing. Well except for the gorgeous bartender. The dancers were unattractive, a few appeared to be way too young, they just walked around all night with their shirts off. The show was unorganized and the seating set up is downright stupid. Your paying extra money for VIP to sit in a folded chair when you can just do general admission and mingle by the gorgeous bartender. They do hound you for extra money, the drinks are $ 10 each. Don’t even try to take a picture in there because the host with the crazy ugly Mohawk will come yell at you …“Don’t let me see you take another picture, do you understand?” I recommend to rent Magic Mike and save yourself a lot of money!

My friends and I came here for a girls’ night out and it was AMAZING! The guys were gorgeous and the drinks were great. I am definitely returning and highly recommend it to everyone!

Went here for a bachlorette party and it was unbelievable!
First off, they are very diligent in making sure you are accommodated and your confirmations is all correct. They email and personally call you which made my feel like we were really cared for and in good hands.
When we got their and books VIP seating (you guys, it’s totally worth it trust me for the experience) we had bout bottle of champagne ready, the seats were higher class than any strip club we have been before and the show was a mix of Magic Mike and and a little fun. The men came by and literally picked up one of my friends, and swung her around like a baton! The hot seat for our bride a full on show for us and filled with giggles for our bride.
We got photos with the men who were all HUNKIE, buff and macho. It was a little Vegas fun in Chicago. Definitely planning the next bachlorette here!

Absolutely amazing experience from booking to show! I trusted Unilocal and so glad I did because our group had an AWESOME time. It was my sister’s bachelorette party and her 30^th birthday so expectations were high and boy were they met! The girls in the group were a little shy, but everyone had a great time and highly entertained. The men were HOT and the show was just the entertainment our group wanted. I speak for the group because we had so much fun and were treated like true ladies the whole time!

Smoking hot men! Having never been to a male strip club I went expecting the worst. It was my sisters Bachelorette party and we wanted to do something fun /​funny and memorable. Not one girl in the group had been to a male strip club, we were all red faced and not knowing what to expect. As soon as you walk in, it starts. Gorgeous men walking around, a really sexy ambience and great drinks.
When the show started, boy was it worth every penny. Its not just men taking off their clothes, it is a succession of little stories. It is super cheesy but super funny!!! Some of the moves these guys do, Wheeeeewww! HOT!
I highly recommend it for a birthday /​bachelorette or even something new. It is such a good time. I will definitely be back!

I tagged along with my girlfriend to be designated driver for a bachelorette party we threw for a friend of ours, and it totally exceeded every expectation I could’ve ever had. I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I’m in to crazy experiences, and, well, they sure did deliver. I figured before we went in that it was either going to be super sleezy, really uncomfortable, or just straight up weird and awkward.
Instead, what we got was a surprisingly well produced show that was ab-​so-​lultely hilarious. The guys on stage were beyond over the top, and the people in the audience shouting out comments were seriously just incredible. You name a cliché or stereotype, it was there. Ridiculous introductions about men in uniforms, the «police» showing up because everyone was too loud then proceeding to «arrest» the worst offenders on stage, you name it.
This is actually going to sound weird, but I found myself preferring this kind of thing to actual female strip clubs. They’re often so sleezy that it far exceeds being sexual and instead is just disgusting. Comparatively, everyone there was really respectful, and seemed to be more focused on just having a silly good time instead of being creepy as possible.
A mohawked guy by the name of James was running the show, and he was great. It seemed like his primary concern both before the show and during the show was to make sure everyone was comfortable with what was happening and that they were having a good time. We did the «hot seat» thing where we sent our bride to be up on stage, and beforehand he made sure to ask what she was comfortable with, what she didn’t want him to do, and things like that.
So, here’s how the ticketing system works– There’s three options: General admission, VIP, or VIP group table. When we went, it was at the club Dolphin in Chicago, so the seating arrangement might change depending on the venue. Anyway, VIP group table means you are closest to the stage and get a rectangle of chairs with a tiny table and bottle of champagne. VIP sits behind that in chairs set up in rows (imagine how seats might be set up going to a community theater event or something) and then general admission means you basically stand wherever you can. Again, this was at Dolphin, so it might be different at other venues.
Given the price difference, I’d say the sweet spot is definitely the VIP seating. Bottle service, as usual, is expensive as hell, and it’s not like as a VIP you were sitting far from the stage. Additionally, the guys who aren’t performing are wandering the audience and will come to anyone waving money at them regardless of where you’re sitting.
Drinks were predictably expensive, with the baseline being $ 10 well cocktails. Dolphin took credit cards, but had a $ 20 minimum.
We read as many reviews as we could on the show before booking (as they reiterate multiple times just how non-​refundable everything is) and I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the negative ones on here. If you’re stuck up to the point that you’re worried that someone might rub something on your dress, have your bachelorette party at Starbucks or somewhere equally lame. And, yeah, no crap strip clubs are expensive. In the words of Morpheus, «Welcome to the real world.»
If there was one negative, it was that they REALLY hustle you out at 10:00 pm the dot. The might’ve been a venue thing, but it was pretty weird how they were already turning up the lights and folding up the chairs at 9:45. I’m used to actual female strip clubs though, where they want you to hang out as long as you have money in your pocket and the ability to take more out of the ATM versus the «ALRIGHT GUYS TIME TO GO HOME!» that they did here. But, this was almost for the better, as we were able to move on to a much more low-​key and lower-​priced bar to finish out the night.
With that being said, as weird as this sounds, I’d totally go back. Hopefully I can convince some other brides to let me similarly chaperon their bachelorette party. If nothing else, it served as fantastic motivation to get my ass back to the gym. Additionally, the MC dude James mentioned he lives by us, I need to figure out which gym he goes to and just do whatever it is he does… As it’s working way better than whatever I’ve been doing.

Maybe I’m a prude, but I’m officially scarred for life after going to a HunkOMania show. I had the privilege of being my best friend’s MOH and subsequently had to plan her bachelorette party. HunkOMania was the only male revue I found in Chicago that had shows on Friday nights, so 12 tickets were purchased, and singles were in hand.
We arrived almost an hour late due to some heavy handed pregaming. You know that feeling you get when you’re watching unsolved mysteries or are walking down a dark alley, afraid there is someone creeping in a corner about to jump out? It was like 1.5 hours of pure creepy alley male revue. They did one choreographed dance, the rest of the time it was like a cattle call auction, who wants a dance? $ 20? anyone, anyone? How about a polaroid picture for $ 15? Anyone anyone?
Some of the girls from the other groups looked like they were enjoying it, but my group was huddled together, afraid one of the g stringed dancers might come over and rub his sweaty B. O crotch all over our nice Missoni dresses. At one point I was flipped over and dry humped so hard I had bruises for the next two weeks. When people asked me where I got the bruises from at least I had a good story to tell, but now my friends won’t let me make the plans anymore since I’m the one with the questionable judgement.

I was calling for information for my friend’s bachelorette party. That’s it. Just trying to get some info. The dude on the phone was such a douche-​bag, though, that i never got through my call. At one point, when I gently mentioned that his customer service could be better, he actually said, ‘Listen, I have shows in 8 different cities! I don’t need to beg you to buy tickets!’
When I hung up and called a different number hoping that it would lead to a different person– I was disappointed. He answered again. I said, ‘You’ve got to be kidding– it’s you again?” and he told me i could speak to someone else if I liked. so I did. And he passed the phone to who I imagine was his girlfriend. She proceeded to let me know (upon my questioning) that there was no manager but him and that he owned the whole business. She was quite rude, herself, actually. So I just told them thanks but no thanks and moved on to Men The Show at the Apartment in Lakeview. The guy that answered there was very nice and helped me. and never once told me he didn’t need to beg for my business.
Stay away from HunkoMania if you like being treated respectfully. I didn’t get into the show because there was no way I was letting 15 girls spend their hard earned money on this guy– but it’s just not worth it to find out.

Umm we went here for my cousins bachelorette. It was the perfect place! Such a fun night! Great drinks, amazing seating. The guys were beyond hot. I feel like I was in the movie Magic Mike!
I would definitely recommend this show for a party, doesn’t matter what it’s for! Get your girls and go!

So happy we chose Hunkomania! My best friend is getting married, and we decided to go to Chicago for her bachelorette. None of us had been before, so when we were trying to find a male strip club, we booked the VIP table at Hunkomania based on Unilocal reviews (thank you, fellow Unilocalers!).
Couldn’t have picked a better spot. Everyone at HM was so helpful and accommodating. Girls night = success!

Like many other reviewers, I came here for a bachelorette party a few months ago. I have to echo a lot of the negative comments — the whole experience is really unorganized, unprofessional and sometimes straight-​up awkward. I’ve been to «Thunder Down Under» type shows before that were way more fun and provided a much better experience. That being said, if you’re into a lot of «audience participation» this is just the place for you.
You truly get what you pay for and depending on what your bachelorette wants, you will have to spend a lot of money to get it. You pay extra cash to get her on stage so she can be groped by the strippers for a few minutes and the remaining 1 hour and 55 minutes is you sitting, watching other bachelorettes’ friends pay lots of money to get their friend onstage so she can be groped by the strippers for a few minutes. It’s just kind of weird and trashy.
Unlike a show like Thunder Down Under, where this is an audience who is watching a choreographed performance, this is more like an actual strip club, where you are either A) paying guys to give you attention or B) watching other people pay guys to get attention, which is ridiculous when you think about the fact that you already paid $ 40 to get in.
We also had one of the staff members begging us to write Unilocal reviews about them for most of the night, which makes me wonder how many of the positive reviews are accurate.
I will not be back.
