I should have done this a long time ago. After the secret cell phone discovery, I went to the Cook County Court House to learn about my options. They gave me a lot of info, including this website:

He was the ONLY atty I interviewed that did not say something like, «I can get you divorced in 30 days.» He actually seemed like he cared, at least a little. I booked a consultation, for $ 25 for half hour, if you use that website above.
BEST $ 25 I ever spent! I felt so EMPOWERED after talking to Atty Ezgur, and also his Legal Secretary, Elizabeth. They listened to all of my marriage crap, and encouraged me.
So far, just leaving this guy’s business card and the paperwork from the Cook County Court House around the house has caused my husband to cancel the TracPhone, and PAY attention to his crazy wife for a change.
I hope no one needs this type of service, but if you do, Atty Jerrold Ezgur is a decent one. It also helps that he is in his late 60s, and has seen and heard it all. Even my craziness did not phase him!
