Flower Department Review
I ordered a corsage and a boutonnière at this Jewel Osco for prom for about $ 25. The roses were not sprayed with anything to keep them alive. The roses started turning brown during prom. I would not recommend ordering flowers for special occasions here!

Salad/hot bar had very dried-out decomposing items. The chicken was dehydrated and hard as rocks. Broccoli was brown and limp, celery dried out, greens goopy. The hot side was a total mess. I really judge a store buy their prepared foods. This is one of the worst I’ve seen. It was so bad it was almost like it had to be a joke. I saw other people go up to the bar and turn away in disgust.

If you could avoid this location and jewel as a whole, do so. I am so dissatisfied with their produce and customer service. The only good thing about the place is their self checkouts but those are mostly out of order anyways.

This is my neighborhood Jewel and Im always going in there for last minute items. Deli is just ok. Produce has not been the best every time. Their bakery is just ok. I have to say, Id rather go to the Jewel by Old Irving in Portage Park. They have a better bakery, deli, and they are very well stocked with everything!

This store made me feel like the life was being sucked out of me. The prices were high and it felt gloomy. The workers were nice, its a shame jewel makes them join the union though.

We don’t have this chain back home so I didn’t know what to expect. Overall a clean store that is organized. Had a decent produce section as well. Also like being able to get liquor without making a second stop… wish Texas TABC would change some of their rules.

I use this store as a pit stop on my way home from work. I’ll stop by here every other week or so and pick up my groceries during rush hour. This Jewel Osco is pretty standard with no complaints here. The staff at the deli and the fish butcher lady are very nice. Don’t be shy to ask for a sample of deli meat and pick out a fresh cut of salmon.
*if you are ever looking for gyoza (potstickers) they won’t have them here

I’ve been shopping that this Jewel for years. It used to be open 24 hours, but a few years ago they stopped.
The produce is just ok. I recommend going to a local grocery store instead.
You can find almost anything you need here though and the prices are not that bad.
Lines get long on the weekend so watch out.

Love this store!!! This Jewel has consistently fresh salmon. The fruits and veggies are always fresh. The store is clean and staff is friendly. My favorite of all Jewel stores.
