2002 Face lift, brow lift, very good results, though I took a bad hit to the left side that left me with a dropping vein over my left eye and temple area that can not be corrected. Will be having another one this year 2014. I am now 61. Excellent surgeon. My pic is posted next to Dr Cook.

Dr. Cook and the whole staff are amazing. I went there for a consultation after many years of searching before and after photos of about 50 of the supposedly «best» surgeons in a 100 mile radius from my town in Indiana. I searched Indianapolis and Chicago. His website was the first that I was happy with all before/​after photos. I wanted the more natural look as opposed to many girls that look like two grapefruits were placed too hi under their skin. The moment I met him I felt so comfortable and confident. All my years of fear were gone. He’s a great listener and not pushy at all. He’s confident but not cocky or creepy. Suzie is amazing and so helpful and easy to talk to. They never were annoyed with all my questions and photos of likes and dislikes. My day of surgery I was nervous but instantly at ease when I saw the dr come in. This was two years ago and I am beyond happy with the results. They are exactly what iv always wanted. They don’t look fake and people are almost in shock when I tell them they are. I’m not embarrassed and am fine with people knowing they aren’t real I just personally do not like the fake round look. They are perfectly bottom heavy with the tear drop shape I wanted. Everything is perfectly symmetrical. Iv sent a few people there after I’m always asked who did mine. Highly recommend!

Since I was a teenager I was always self-​conscience about my body. Being petite with a big booty and small breasts was not the desired body-​type for a girl growing up in a pre-​Beyoncé/​J-​Lo world. Unfortunately I never out grew my insecurities so for as long as I can remember I always wanted to get breast augmentation. I just wanted to feel more proportionate and be able to buy the clothes I liked but never could because I couldn’t «fill them out.»
Even though I always wanted to get breast enhancement surgery there was always a reason for me not to. At first it was financial then it became fear. I have a very low pain tolerance so I just knew surgery like this was going to be super painful. Plus I have a history of keloids (abnormal scar tissue growth). I was doomed to be uncomfortable with my body forever.
Finally after the zillionth conversation about my (lack of) breasts my husband suggested we go talk to someone. What could it hurt? I spent the next few weeks researching the different types of implants and doctors in the Chicago area. I had a few doctor recommendations from friends of friends but none of them passed my initial review. If I was going to have anyone cutting on me I wanted the best — board certified, great results, and good patient reviews.
Dr. Cook was at the top my list so I called his Chicago office to see if I could get some more information. The receptionist had someone call me back within an hour to answer my questions. After about 15 minutes she recommended I come in and meet Dr. Cook and get a consultation. Unlike other surgeons, Dr. Cook charged a consultation fee ($ 150 I think) but that amount would be added to the total cost if I decided to go through with the procedure. We were able to schedule an appointment a couple weeks later. When I arrived the staff was so friendly. They immediately made me feel comfortable and eased my nerves. As soon as I met Dr. Cook I knew he was the person for me. He listened to all my concerns, answered my questions and assured me that I wouldn’t end up with big breasts that looked like 2 beach balls glued to my chest. He recommended a size that fit my body shape which also happened to be the size I always envisioned myself (he’s probably a mind reader as well as a surgeon). They gave me time to think about it without any pressure and even offered to let me come back and try on the different sizes (which I took them up on the offer).
The surgery was out-​patient in a really nice surgery center in the back of the 900 N. Michigan shops. The staff there was also very friendly and tried to make me comfortable but I was terribly nervous. Honestly, I considered, for a split second, on leaving. The nurse had a hard time getting my IV in so she was starting to get a little anxious which was making me anxious. As soon as Dr. Cook entered the room he had this smile on his face and a calm about him that made me feel instantly at ease. I don’t know about you but that’s exactly how I want anyone operating on me to be like.
The surgery itself went smoothly. They had me up and out of bed within a few hours. For the next 3 days I did nothing but sleep. The pain meds didn’t sit well with my stomach but it didn’t matter because I didn’t feel like I needed the really strong ones. There wasn’t a lot of pain (remember, my pain tolerance is extremely low). I was more sore than in pain. It almost felt like I did 500 push-​ups. The worse part about recovery was not being able to sleep on my side for a few weeks.
Now that I’m a few months post-​op I should probably tell you about my results… AMAZING! I absolutely love them. I can’t believe I waited so long to do it! My new size fits my body so well that people barely notice anything is amiss (no beach balls glued to my chest for me). The best compliment I have received so far was from the lady at Victoria’s Secret who was fitting me for my first new bras. She didn’t believe me when I told her I had just gotten implants. She said (no joke), «I look at boobs all day and I can always tell the real ones from fake but yours are so natural.»
Worth every penny!

Dr. Cook was referred to me by an anesthesiologist I worked for who had performed anesthesia during Dr. Cook’s cosmetic surgeries. She witnessed his surgical method and described it to me first-​hand as «meticulous» and «sterile». She also said he would be the only surgeon she would let operate on her. At that point, I scheduled a consultation with him, as well as several other cosmetic surgeons in the area.
From the moment I walked into the office, I was met with the utmost professionalism from him and the staff. During my visit, Dr. Cook made me feel highly confident in his abilities and skill. I quickly knew I felt something in him I didn’t experience with the other surgeons and scheduled my first surgery in April 2000. I have since had another surgery, as well as other cosmetic procedures, with Dr. Cook and all were highly successful and the aftercare provided was amazing.
Dr. Cook, to me, is more like an artist who is determined to get a flawless result and shows great pride in achieving a natural result. His staff is kind and extremely competent, and I will be a patient for years to come. I highly recommend him to anyone considering cosmetic surgery and the Five Star rating is well deserved!

He takes a great deal of time with his patients making sure that the necessary corrections are precise and natural. Dr. Cook’s office is amazing. The office itself is a calm/​relaxing environment and everyone I’ve met has been extremely friendly. As a first timer to Botox, I was really nervous. The girls at Dr. Cook’s office put me right at ease. Amie listened closely to my needs, answered all my questions and address all my concerns. She walked me through the entire process and explained each step as we went along. The process itself was so easy… I can’t believe I waited this long. The results are fantastic. Dr. Cook’s office is amazing and takes care of every detail, from the time you walk in the door until you leave and beyond. They definitely care about their clients and are flexible, helpful and friendly. It doesn’t get much better then walking in the office door to get a few minutes to chat with Justin, the office manager, who sets the tone and energy for an enjoyable visit. He always has sparkling water ready and is very good at letting you know what to expect from any of the treatments you choose. I have been taken care of by both Tula and Rana who know exactly how to make sure you are relaxed, comfortable, and enjoy your experience. In fact, I fell asleep during a facial and Rana just let me rest. It was heaven. Also, getting any injectable treatments has always been comfortable and easy but most importantly I have always been thrilled with this results. Their skin care line is fantastic, my skin has never looked better. The office is beautiful, complete with city views and a contemporary, inspiring design. I always am treated like a treasured friend during my visits which keeps me coming back again and again!

This man is not only a true professional in every sense of the word, he is also a true gentleman. Dr. Cook talked to me like a human being and actually convinced me NOT to do one of the two plastic surgery procedures i requested, stating it was unecessary at this time. what kind of doctor does that?! he seemed very educated and thorough during our discussions and his staff is very acommodating. i would definitley recommend this guy.
