I work with a family whose teen daughter attends Josephinum. Since I’m not a parent, myself, I don’t know the real particular’s of what someone is looking for in a school. I can tell you for sure that I love being greeted by the adorable Sister Consuela every morning. The teachers are, for the most part, young and somewhat hip. One of the teachers in particular, Mr. Benke, is awesome, and I would have LOVED a teacher like him at that age! The curriculum is loosely religious, that is to say, they definitely are a Catholic school, with prayer in the morning, and there are religion classes and chapel, but I don’t think non-Catholics would feel particularly ostracized. The girls, for the most part, seem welcoming, but it can also get cliquey(as I imagine any all-girls school would). The school encourages community involvement, and college attendance!
