ord food court… going with the crowd and picking manchu with the longest line… people ordering orange chicken… seems popular. doing same and doubling up on just orange chicken for the 2-item meal with fried rice $ 11.24 total with soda… taking the container to an empty table inside the food court… fried rice was no good… odd unfamiliar smell… probably better off getting just plain white rice if available… orange chicken was battered thick, hard and dry… sauce tasted like it should, but was super thick and gummy…

I think this will make my second trip here, and both have been bad. Will try to make this short: Pro: I really can’t think of one Con: portions are lousy, got kung pao chicken and got more peppers and vegetables than chicken. It’s a CHICKEN dish! Expensive(well yeah, its the airport…) Fried rice is minimally like veg fried rice Diet Coke was not mixed properly, less syrup more seltzer water — cutting corners for expensive prices Personnel seems more interested in talking with each other than serving the customers. The cashier lady(the same one from last time) seems very indifferent on what’s going on. I know, its airport food, but c’mon, even the Germans at McDonald’s in Munich seem to have a bit more enthusiasm and pride in their work in food service. This one Belgian young lady helped me nice in Antwerp McDonald’s. Will never come here again… will use my money to buy A half torta at Bayless’ place in B concourse.

Had the chicken with mushroom and noodles for seven bucks. Chicken and mushrooms were non-existant. It was all noodle. Save your money and eat somewhere else!

One should know that, at this Manchu Wok location, they do not sell chicken breast. This is something that needs to be PROMINENTLY displayed as, in mainstream society, the dishes sold here are usually made using chicken breast. Nonetheless, everything else was satisfactory. The rice and the Vo-Hep(鍋貼) were actually good. The service was also excellent, polite, and accommodating. Yet the fact that the chicken dishes are made using lower parts the chicken cannot outweigh the positives.

Pretty bad… even the portions suck The orange chicken was just ok at best. Everything else was not good. Probably the worst wok(fake chinese) place ive ever had. Stick with panda…

If there was a no star rating for restaurants, this place would deserve it. I can only say wow as I sit here looking at this box of noodles and rubber chicken that I can’t even stomach to eat. If it wasn’t for the unsuspecting customers with limited choices on this concourse, they would be out of business. I should have read reviews before stopping, but like many others, I was just trying to grab a bite before trying to catch a flight. I do not recommend stopping at Manchu wok. You will end up still hungry and out $ 11.

Orange chicken rubbery… broccoli beef bland… noodles boring. This is probably the worst Chinese fast food I have ever had. Eat anything else in this food court… trust me! This food is just gross! Zero stars!

Worst Manchu Wok I have ever dried. Veggies were undercooked. Orange chicken has little chicken and mostly batter, it tasted like it was fried using 100 days old oil, or probably last night leftover refried. Fried rice was undercooked. Worst Chinese food ever.

Tiny portions and big prices. Calories are only listed for combo played, with a vast range depending on what you pick and is made that day. This is a fairly careless place since it’s the only Chinese-American option in concourse C. Avoid this place unless you’re equally careless.

What is the deal with no smiles people? Do you hate your job that much? Also, I asked«can the crab Rangoon be part of the pick 3»? She says yes. But when I go to the cashier its $ 11 instead of $ 9. So the cashier says he just rings up the instructions in the box. I understand but she told me something else. So she says just 1 crab Rangoon comes with the pick 3 as an item and its $ 1 more for the 2nd. So maybe we should have communicated this before putting the second one in the order? So he rings me up correctly. Then they take the box back and take out one of the crab rangoons… And puts it back in the food with the other rangoons for the next order!!! I’m serious! The food tasted good but the experience was not.

The potato beef has only 4 tiny pieces of beef, and the potato tastes like wax. And they do not smile to their customers.

This place is terrible! It’s the worst fast food Chinese I’ve ever had. Be sure to specify you are ordering the pick 2 or pick 3 because they will charge for the lowest base plate then add on the extra sides a la carte to run up your bill. The orange chicken is extremely grisly to the point not even half the order was edible, the fried rice is horrible dry with an awful flavor, and the egg rolls are soggy. The guy working was also really rude. Don’t waste your money here.

**3.5 stars for MW** After a week long trip in Chicago, I was tired of American food. I wanted some comfort food… yes, I missed rice and noodles. :) I shared the 3 choice combo with my family($ 8.50+ tax). The price was very reasonable for airport food and they give you so much. I got the fried rice, chow mein, mushroom chicken, orange chicken and broccoli beef. The noodles and orange chicken were my favorite! Everything else was good but a little salty as expected. Overall, Manchu is a good place for quick Chinese food. :) I think it was better than Panda!

Terrible food. Do not get the orange chicken. It’s drenched in sauce and the Lo mein is completely tasteless. Please spend your money elsewhere.

The food was way too salty and smothered in sauce! The orange chicken in particular was so drenched in sauce that it was mushy! I know this is airport food but this is by far the worst meal I ever had and I travel quit a bit.

Horrible horrible«Chinese» food. Actually, calling this«Chinese» food should be considered a racial slur. I think this is what good Chinese food would taste like after it has been eaten, pooped out and re-heated. Eat here if you want to hate yourself just a little bit more — I know I do! As I understand it, charges if «Crimes against humanity» are pending at The Hague against Manchu Wok. Warning: If you are depressed this May be the tipping point that finally causes you to make that awe inspiring leap from the Willis tower. Enjoy!

The service was not typical of other Manchu Woks. Being at an airport, you would enjoy a friendly atmosphere looking to make your day of travel less stressful. Instead it appeared that everyone on staff was in a bigger hurry than I was without anyone else in line. I did not feel welcome, did not receive a smile and was not thanked for my business. The food was ok. I returned to refill my lemonade before getting on my flight. «No refills» was the last thing I’ll be hearing from Manchu Wok. The other fine establishments will hopefully appreciate and service my frequent visits to this airport.

There was a long line and the food looked hot and fresh so I tried the orange chicken with fried rice and crab rangoon. The orange chicken was pretty standard mall food court Chinese food but the chicken was pretty good quality. The rice was acceptable but not excellent. From what I can tell, this airport has some much higher rated restaurants– try those. I wish I had.

Absolutely Horrible! Zero Stars would be a more honest rating. Without a doubt the worst«chinese» food in ANY airport. Steam-table Chinese is normally my «go-to» meal in between flights as I spend a ton of time in airports. This place has been in steady decline but I think they’ve hit rock bottom. The people who run Manchu Wok should be embarrassed. Several fellow patrons did what I did… took a few bites and threw the junk away. Fried Rice-Dry and overcooked, Spicy Tofu — Nearly inedible. They offered some new kind of chicken served with thickly sliced potatoes and leftover, chewy, gristly chicken bits. Holy cow! It tasted like bad beef gravy over my mom’s overcooked potatoes. Couldn’t get the mixed vegetables as they were down to the dregs. The orange chicken looked gummy and greasy. Egg roll — Greasy and tasteless. This was 12:30 pm at the lunchtime rush. I should have paid more attention to the fact that the line was very short. .. and quite long at the other food court places. This was the Terminal 3 store
