I have been eating here for over two decades and they never disappoint me. Great Mexican food at a great price. The burritos are huge and flavorful.

Very good Mexican food for a place that looks like a dive. The torta dinner is great. They hook you up pretty well with the loaded nachos too. Have to be careful though they have some sort of health code violation posted by the register. I can’t remember what it’s for though.

We love them and you will too! Food is prepared fresh and is delicious. Every time we come in they have your food ready in about ten minutes and are generous with providing sauces. If you are looking for a tasty alternative to other local Texmex dives then give them a try!

As I work in the area, there seems to be a lack of decent places to eat… one can have Subway, McDonald’s, and Wendys only so many times a month.
Manny’s breaks that fast food restaurant mold… their tacos are tasty and fulfilling (as well as their other offerings… burritos and so on)…prices are decent ($ 2 tacos rock!), and they deliver on request.
My co-​workers and I really like this place and will order from here at least a few times a month.

As for tacos in Roseland, I would rate a 4, however in the grand scheme of Mexican tacos, I’ve definitely had better.
Admittedly I only tried the steak tacos and will update my review if it’s warranted upon trying additional items. Yes, despite my rating, I would try again as the food was not bad but just ok.
The taco had ample steak in it but the steak wasn’t quite what I’m accustomed to from Mexican restaurants. It lacked that char and seasoning. The shells were very soggy making the taco very sloppy.
The jalapenos, which they sale 3/.50 were amazing. Ironically, they were seasoned… go figure.

The tacos are good. Steak taco was absolutely delicious and the chicken was ok. Plan on going back to order there burrito and I hope that I am just as pleased as am with there tacos. The taco salad looked really good too. I would have never thought to go here and order anything but turns out the appearance is different than what you stuffing in your mouth. Enjoy!

I have to say I would have never just walked in this place to order food on my own. Because it looks like any other divey neighborhood restaurant. But after hearing how good the food is here, I was excited to finally try it when I was in the neighborhood. My friend took me here and as I walked in I was thinking that the food would taste average, something you can get at any neighborhood taco joint. Boy was I wrong, you can’t always judge a book by it’s cover. I had a ground beef burrito, and the meat was seasoned really well and the ingredients tasted fresh, which is always good. And I got to taste their steak tacos and the steak tasted nicely seasoned and the meat wasn’t tough. I would definitely return here if I am in the area, and not let the exterior deter me.

Manny’s has been around for years and the reason is their quality food. Authentic, tasty, Fantabulous (yep I made that word up all by myself). They have made some changes as well like Pizza, I think some of the reason they expanded the menu is because of the restaurant Danny’s Taco that moved down the street from them a few years back. I can’t speak on the pizza because I haven’t had the chance to taste it yet but the Buritos and tacos are always good… I haven’t been disappointed yet.
