McDonald’s

One of the fastest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. They are like a well-​oiled machine in the morning and turn around meals very quickly.

I LOVE this McDonalds location & by far this is the BEST location as far as Downtown Chicago goes! The people like Anayeli, NeQua, & Rebeca are EXTREMELY friendly & outgoing along with Jose, & the Owner & Staff! I’ve been going here for over 2 ½ years & love the way my food is handled, cleanliness, & I always feel at home & taken care of!

I don’t care what the other reviews say. I came in and ordered the #6 meal. The cashier was nice and the food came instantly. It was prepared just fine and I enjoyed my experience.

Absolutely hate this McDonald’s. Located in the middle of Chicago’s American financial district, and they only employ about 3 people that can speak proper English. Not to mention I get the same attitude every morning no matter who serves me. I can’t imagine why Americans have such hard time finding jobs.

Frustrated with the employee «Maria» as she always gives me attitude that I only buy one thing every morning. A large sweet tea in a styrofoam cup. Well sometimes I want diet coke in that cup rather then tea and I went to tell her/​them the soda isn’t working and she’s hissy and goes «we don’t have any Co2 for our machines and you said sweet tea». It’s people like that that ruin the atmosphere of a place, but then again she is at McDonalds… Lose the attitude and help make things right, like «sorry» or wait x amount of mins… Any event I will continue to go and piss her off…

If you have to use the washroom avoid this one!!! There is a line for a single Person washroom!

Holy SHADY! I never thought I’d Unilocal about a McDonalds, but here I go! My sweet-​as-​pie co-​worker just went over to this 29 n. Wacker location with a coupon from the store they gave out themselves, and they didn’t honor it even though she is clearly in the right times and restrictions mentioned on the coupon. She left embarrassed as she only brought enough money to buy what on special and got flustered with the big line behind her to change her order. Last week they honored the coupon just fine, and now all of the sudden they flaked! Apparently this place is infamous now for making there own random coupons and not honoring them. We called McDonalds corporate, and apparently they don’t regulate coupons that the individual store owners distribute. I am disappointed in McDonalds, they do a great job of regulating the quality of the food to be consistent all over the WORLD (thumbs up you know what you’re going to get) but yet they’d let there name be tarnished by creepy, shady individual owners in this way??? Part of the McDonalds experience is knowing «your safe» it is always the same good-ol-McD’s you’ve know since you were a kid. Apparently they DON’T care about us like I thought. :(I mean, I understand not all of the restaurants accept all coupons (gotta pay the rent, and some Mc-​renters downtown have to pay more than a Mc-​renter in the suburbs) but not to regulate the owners making coupons at there printer at home, and then not honoring them and attaching it to McDonalds’ name seems small scale and makes me not trust the parent company to me.

99cent Filet o’Fish, Friday’s (March 11, 18, & 25 ONLY) with any purchase — Limit 2. Printed on regular paper, no other disclaimers, so shady! I felt so bad for my co-worker…she was blushing and embarrassed. Like she was begging for free food or something. Not «Feeling good» McD’s!
Well even if no one ever reads this… I feel better to rant a little, and to boycott this McDonalds.

I have to get things straight so people don’t think I’m biased. I enjoy eating McDonalds but try not to because it is HORRIBLE for you. When I was young (15), I used to work at one and still enjoy the food despite all the bad stuff I saw going on at the workplace. My taste-​buds are just too American sadly.
Anyways down to THIS location of McDonalds.

This McDonalds sucks. They don’t fill up your fries at all. They are complete nazis about it. I even complained my fries were half-​filled and they said that’s just how we do it here. They also only let you redeem one game-​piece at a time. They really go out of their way to make it inconvenient for you. Since the managers are such jerks here and always screw you over, I felt the best service I could do for everyone on Unilocal is to warn them not to go to this location. There are plenty of other great McDonalds out there. Just don’t patronize the nazis at this one. Most of the time I get a bad attitude from the employees (although there is one skinny African American older gentleman that is a very nice guy that works here). There are McDonalds all over this place.
If you do have to go, eat some double cheeseburgers. Their margins on that are thin if not non-​existent. It’s like the cheap bread/​milk at grocery stores to get people to go in. Not to mention double-​cheeseburgers are the best deal in American fast food right now.
Do NOT go to this McDonalds. I thought about writing a letter to corporate about them but I think Unilocal is actually more helpful. Corporate would just throw away my letter anyways.
I love McDonalds but this is the worst location. AVOID IT.
