I wish there was a negative star rating because this dental office deserves –5. Avoid Medhat dental or your mouth will be sorry. I lost 3 teeth to their poor care. How do I hate them? Let me count the ways: Dr. Ramin Medhat has horrible chair-​side manner: if a crown doesn’t fit properly, he’ll press down with all his might to get it on while you try not to scream. They suggest frivolous treatments (like unnecessary osseous surgery/​bone grafts) not covered by insurance; they will not tell you your insurance is tapped out before doing work; they ask for pre-​payment, then don’t refund money you have coming; they drill and crown teeth that are too fragile and, 8 months later, the tooth «needs» to be pulled, meanwhile, they are laughing all the way to the bank. They ignored my complaints and didn’t deign to respond to a letter detailing their crappy practices. Dr. Medhat, I found out too late, has had many complaints filed against him with the Dental Association. Medhat also has a downtown location.

I went to get my annual checkup that I haven’t done in a couple years. The hygenist was hilarious and really spent some time on my choppers. I left with tons of floss and a toothbrush. Going to the dentist isn’t necessarily pleasant but they made it as comfortable as possible.
